I do have AAA and gave my TA the info. My understanding is that there are no promo's or packages for 07 yet, so I don't know if that would help...

you can book a room only and then add the stuff after

you can book concierge with AAA

a birdie tells me that wl is filling up for next year quickly
also the CL renovations should be done BEFORE we go Lisa
woo hoo
we will have some great trip reports between the 2 of us

:banana: :Pinkbounc :banana: :bounce: I wonder if the furnishings up in the CL will be upgraded from the other rooms furnishings? I'd think they'd want to make them a little more "special" ;) as the CL at the WL was an afterthought after they built the resort.

Yes..considering the furthest out the discounts are now..is 9/30/06...it will be a while before the '07 discounts come out. I've already gone on trips and booked it expecting to have to pay a higher rate...cuz the discount didn't come out until a month before :guilty: but then I grabbed the discount when it came out. :)

yeah i wonder about that
but i am glad the rooms will be done before we go
the new rooms look great, another reason to be excited

kelly,

are you going to have internet access while you are there? I will have my laptop..but I have cable connection and am not sure how to use it there..last time I went there it was with dial up and used the room phone and paid 75 cents per connection. Anyhow..if you do..you have to post from there and tell us all about the CL so I can live vicariously through you for oh..about 5 days until I arrive :banana: :goodvibes

Well, add us to the list of those who will be going to the WL in September!!!! I was hesitant to book a trip this year, we have cancelled 2 trips to WDW this year due to family health problems. We will be celebrating our first anniversary!!! We had booked concierge level back in April, but had to cancel; to my surprise~ it was available today when I went to book our trip. Everything I had them check was booked. We started chatting and she asked me if she should check the WL. I said sure and here I am...$1,000.00 over budget. Thats ok....its our first anniversary and I got a fantastic AP rate for concierge. SOOOO....can someone tell me a little bit about the concierge level there. We celebrated our honeymoon there last year, had a courtyard view room. Very excited about comming back to WL...it was destiny.

heres the menu lisa posted and i also replied to your other post

Breakfast. (each day, was the same)

*Blueberry and Chocolate Chip muffins (the mini kind..not full sized)
*Bagels (mini kind) flavors were: sesame, plain, poppy seed. A toaster was available as was cream cheese, butter, jelly, and peanut butter
*4 cereals, Frosted Flakes, Corn Flakes, Froot Loops and Cheerios
*A pastry, usually filled with apple or cherry
*Croissants (some mornings, not every morning)]
*Coffee, different kinds of tea, hot cocoa, chocolate milk, white milk, orange and apple juice

Afternoon Snacks: (each day the same)

* Nuts
* Pretzels
* Chocolate Chip or Sugar Cookies
Also..an assortment of sodas and juices was available in the fridge.

Evening Appetizers: Each day there was bread, butter, cheeses, vegetables and dip, crackers and those PB&J Uncrustables. Then each day the following would change.

Day 1 (Wednesday)
* Soup - Hearty Vegetable
* Appetizers - Buffalo Chili

Day 2 (Thursday)
* It was a cream soup and the concierge thought a "sausage" dish..we weren't here for this, this night.

Day 3 (Friday)
* Soup - Potato Cheese
* Appetizer - Salmon Pot Pie

Day 4 (Saturday)
* Soup - Hearty Vegetable
* Appetizer - Pulled Pork

Evening Desserts:
Each night there were brownies, cookies and magic cookie bars..and one hot dessert.

It would vary..between apple crisp and a blackberry/blueberry cobbler type dish. Very delicious

First of all I just want to day CONGRATULATIONS on your 1st Year Anniversary :love:

That's so exciting. My DH and I also stayed at the WL for our Honeymoon and have been returning ever since.

You will love the Club Level. It is true when they say, "Once you stay there, you won't want to stay anywhere else". The CM's are just wonderful and extremely helpful. Make sure you note on your information that it is your first anniversary!!

I think just a few posts back, LisaRN listed some of the menus for a couple of days. Breakfast is great and so is dessert!!

Hope you receive lots of Pixie Dust :wizard:

Thank you soooo much!!! I am just giddy. I am hoping that IPO contacts me soon. I am wanting to have a special surprise in the room waiting for my DH. Any suggestions for some romance? Maybe a carriage ride? I was thinking about doing HDDR, but I am a vegetarian. :guilty: We are eating at Narcooses for our anniversary, we ate there last year too!!! Will the renovations be done by September?

The concierge told me that the renovations on the CL level should be done by the end of July..as I was worried it would interrupt our August stay. I have to say..we did the carriage ride at Ft Wilderness with our DD's and it was WONDERFUL!!!!!! Do it..you'll love it! And it would most certainly be romantic with just the two of you. Ask the Concierge if they have any vegetarian options available at HDD..they may be able to accomodate that. I got an Concierge email 1-2 days after I booked my room..so you should receive it shortly..if not..email them! Here is their email

YUM!!!! Everything sounds soooo good!! I am so psyched out to try the concierge level. We loved the courtyard view and can only imagine that the concierge level is more than amazing. DH loved the atmosphere of room, I am hoping the new rooms are just as fantastic. Pics of the new rooms?

Wow..thanks!!! I am to say that everyone here is soooo friendly :banana:
I should also add, sooo informative!!!! :cool1: I think I will ask IPO if HDDR can accomdate a vegetarian meal. The carriage ride seems sooo romantic. Can you tell me where is goes to? Can we take the boat over to Ft. Wilderness?

I did ask the Concierge to note on our upcoming HDD ressie that our DD is allergic to strawberries and cannot have that as dessert and if they could please substitute. Here's what we did with the Carriage ride. The driver offered us the option to take us around Ft. Wilderness..or to drive us from Ft. Wilderness over to the WL..we chose a ride over to the WL..it was SO extremely wonderful pulling up under that front canopy and front doors feeling like Cinderella's family :) I don't know if all drivers offer that option, but ours did and we tipped him generously for it. I would take the boat over to Ft Wilderness, that's what we are doing for HDD. Also, even if it is raining a bit..the carriage can be covered, so you can still go if it is slightly raining. :goodvibes

the WL IPO staff is great
i have some amazing interactions with brandon lynne and trish
brandon and trish are so nice and I have spoken with them more than lynne
we sent them a thank you tower from harry and david for all the work they have done for us

YOu guys rock!!!! I can't believe how nice you guys are on this thread. This makes me even more excited to go back to WL!!!! I will ask concierge about the vegetarian meal at HDDR. I got chills after readin about LisaRNs carriage ride, how it pulled up right at the WL!!! I will email IPO if they haven't within a few days. This will be an amazing anniversary!!!! What about gifts left in the room....like they do at the GF?
I would love to have chocolate covered strawberrries to eat when we get there.

i would just ask them about it, i am sure they can arrange that
i have arranged a treat formy 7 year old and brandon is taking care of it
