Hello Everyone,

We have a WL CL stay booked in February (which I am VERY Excited about! :cool1: )

I have a question about our last day. We will not be leaving the WL until 6:00pm. Will we be able to utilize the Concierge Level for that day, even after we check out of our room? Will they be able to store our luggage for us? We fly to Canada so we do not get to do our air check in at the hotel.

I am assuming yes, but thought I should check with the Dis experts.

Janet,

When we stayed CL, they told us we have until midnight of the day of departure to use the amenities. :)

When are you going? My DH and I are going 2/21-25/07 for our 5th Wedding Anniversary!!!! :love:

We are going from Feb. 3-10th, to celebrate the fact that I just got a great new job. I can't wait!

We are local and want to stay onsite for the night we are going to MNSSHP. I'm trying to make up my mind between WL and CR. We want good access to MK, that's the main thing. I've stayed at CR before, but wanted to try something new. WL sounds and looks awesome, we'd be spending the time we're not at MNNSHP at the resort, swimming, etc. So what do you guys think about the transportaion between WL and MK? Thanks!

Yes..last December I was also told that I could utilize the CL at the WL the entire day, even after the check out time. :)

We chose WL. After a long night at the party a boat ride sounded great to me.

I am thinking of possibly booking WL concierge level next year for our trip. Can you tell me more about the food/drink offerings, our main reason for wanting this. Other perks we should be aware of to sway us more :thumbsup2

I can..I can :cool1: We only stayed 4 days last December (split between that and BWI)..but this year a whole 8 nights! :love: :goodvibes :love: Here's a copy of what I posted earlier regarding food/drink offerings..hope it helps...in about a month.. I can post a larger menu when I report back! :banana:

Breakfast. (each day, was the same)

*Blueberry and Chocolate Chip muffins (the mini kind..not full sized)
*Bagels (mini kind) flavors were: sesame, plain, poppy seed. A toaster was available as was cream cheese, butter, jelly, and peanut butter
*4 cereals, Frosted Flakes, Corn Flakes, Froot Loops and Cheerios
*A pastry, usually filled with apple or cherry
*Croissants (some mornings, not every morning)]
*Coffee, different kinds of tea, hot cocoa, chocolate milk, white milk, orange and apple juice

Afternoon Snacks: (each day the same)
* Gummi Bears
* Nuts
* Pretzels
* Chocolate Chip or Sugar Cookies
Also..an assortment of sodas and juices was available in the fridge.

Evening Appetizers: Each day there was bread, butter, cheeses, vegetables and dip, crackers and those PB&J Uncrustables. Then each day the following would change.

Day 1 (Wednesday)
* Soup - Hearty Vegetable
* Appetizers - Buffalo Chili

Day 2 (Thursday)
* It was a cream soup and the concierge thought a "sausage" dish..we weren't here for this, this night.

Day 3 (Friday)
* Soup - Potato Cheese
* Appetizer - Salmon Pot Pie

Day 4 (Saturday)
* Soup - Hearty Vegetable
* Appetizer - Pulled Pork

Evening Desserts:
Each night there were brownies, cookies and magic cookie bars..and one hot dessert.

It would vary..between apple crisp and a blackberry/blueberry cobbler type dish. Very delicious.

Ooohhh! Please do. I'm so looking forward to our stay, I can't wait to hear a new report from you about the concierge level.

Hi! Still wondering if anyone knows if the Deluxe rooms come with Concierge Service or not? If not, does anyone know how much to add it? Thanks for any help!

No the Deluxe rooms are not connected to Concierge. The only way to know if you could add concierge services to the Deluxe rooms would be to speak to the manager over the 7th floor. I have no idea if they would do this or how much it would be sorry. :confused3

Regarding the Standard rooms not showing available, I told my travel agent to go ahead and book a woods view room last night, and she said that the woods view was not showing as available either! I just can't believe this! The courtyard view is the cheapest room available, and that is $280 rack rate. The whole point of my family staying at the WL this trip is so that we could save money and still stay in a Deluxe. If we have to front $280 for the WL, then I might as well stay at my personal fave the BWI or try the Poly. Sorry for the rant guys, but I was really looking forward to trying the WL. :confused3

The WL is so popular that those standards and woodsviews do tend to get grabbed up right away, as those are the best bargain. I agree to see if you can get a AAA discount, even if you don't have AAA it might be worth it to join for about $40 and then be able to save $$$ on your room. Also, even at 280.00 for WL wouldn't the BWI and Poly be quite a bit more than that? I still think any room at WL is a bargain compared to the other deluxes :) And Kelly is right, you can book the Courtyard and keep calling back to see if something opens up :thumbsup2

Can you book concierge through AAA? I've never booked concierge before but would love to save through AAA if possible.

Thanks for the concierge menu's, that is GREAT!
