I just got back from WDW and they were using a new standard drink menu. It's in most restaurants and lounges, but a few places still do their own special cocktails, like Cali Grill.

Thats a much cooler drink menu than the boring menu that is at every other darn restaurant and bar on property. It would be nice if they had menus themed for each hotel! :cool1:

As long as I can still get my Lapu Lapu at the Polynesian, I'll be happy.;)

I agree, but by the time I buy 4-5 of those it gets expensive;) There is nothing on the beer selection I can't get at Kroger, and *most* of those are available at the kwikie mart on the corner.:sad2:

I need one of those drinks now...but since I have a few months until our next vacation...I guess I will just have to wait....sigh

This is the new menu that is at 'every other darn restaurant and bar on property' so I hope you like it...because it one will be boring in a year!

Is that the one served in the pineapple?

Lapu Lapu are the drinks served in pineapples at The Polynesian, yes.

I thought I read here recently that the lapu lapu was refillable for $5.

Now that is an excellent cocktail menu!! About every other one I thought "That sounds really good!" I am glad to see that they still have some of my favorites like the magical star cocktail and the blue glowtini!! Can't wait to have some old ones and try some new ones!!!

awesome! Thanks for posting...looking forward to trying those out in January. The mojitos look interesting!:thumbsup2

This is one time where generalizing with a standard menu is a good idea!

I was worried until I saw the words "Pina Colava". It's a WDW tradition for me and my sister, the only time either of us gets anything sweet and fruity!!!

I've heard if there is an old drink not on the standard menu anymore, you can sweetly ask the bartender and if they have the ingredients, they'll usually make you one.

But yes, the Pina Colava is still there. One of the many things I wanted to try and couldn't since I was so addicted to the Rec Grape Sensation!

Can someone fill me in on the Lapu Lapu? What is in it?

And where can I find it? We want to get one (some?) and watch fireworks from the Poly beach.

This is the post I have been looking for! Thanks so much to OP for posting the menu. I agree that it looks interesting now, but I hope they continue to refresh the menu at least every year.
I seem to have missed the prices on the cocktails/mojitos. I'm assuming $9/$10?
