Are you taking your GCSEs a year early?

In all my mocks I got an A/A*, except for food tech which I got a B. I will definately get a B in science, its modular, and I got a D in one module I'm retaking, but I don't think it will improve I hated chemistry.

What novels/poems/creative writing have you had to do your eng cwk on? I had to write about moving away (I moved to Florida obviously), To Kill a Mockingbird and Mayor of Casterbridge (which was the most outrageously boring thing I have ever read). OH and pre-1914 poetry, romantic movement, browning and co, which I am doing now -.-

Nah I'm only taking my maths a year early and I'm sitting the english language paper this year.

I did the first of the science exams back in November! I've got more coming up in March. Luckily this year it's all multi-choice. I'm not very natural in science. I hate to brag but I could get an A* in english without attending any lessons, it's just always been my subject. I've been top in my year for as long as I can remember (watch now I'll be getting F's xD). Nobody can touch me on it (I won't let them xD).

We have to do something with Of Mice And Men and we're doing something with south african poetry. They gave us an anthology book and the two poems selected have to the worst in there. I like the ones where you can interperate them yourself, there is no right and wrong mainly because I don't see things like most people xD This term we were doing writing to persuade, argue and advise. We did three tasks and chose the best one for actual coursework. I don't know my marks for persuasion but it was a group task and we had to get people to visit my town, so I'm guessing it wasn't too good xD I'm funnily enougn submitting the to argue one (a rant about my local area xD). The to advise one was to advise newcomers to my school on how to act and I can't write for an 11yr old so an A was shockingly good xD
Then we had to write a descriptive piece. Like really she just said go away and write a story with any of the following titles. Descriptive writing is my forte so I was pretty chuffed. My idea is a bit risky though and it's due thursday and well it's unwritten xD

I'd touch wood! now you said about getting A*'s in English, you will fail I did somethign similar. There is this really easy lesson I get A*s in EVERY time, and then when I told my mother that, I got a D on a peice of classwork

Sounds like your english is going well. All my coursework is written the day before! I am awful lmao. Everyone moans about how 2 weeks isn't enough, when I am thinking "I could get an A/B on my cwk in a day..".
