During non holiday times, that must be the cheapest Character meal around Disney! :thumbsup2
I booked it for my birthday breakfast :goodvibes

I was hoping their menu would be kind of like Boma's, but oh well. Green beans and mashed potatoes in Africa it is!

I will go try their new character breakfast, for sure.

Sounds delicious. I will have to go and check it out. Too bad I won't be able to do it until next year. :sad2:
Someone make sure you you come back and give us a report on how it actally was.

Bummer. At a little more than double what we USED to spend there and then the consideration of riding any rides afterwards on a full tummy?
I do look forward to reviews, but normally we avoid character meals so....

meh.

LOL

I've been waiting to hear this. I'm making my dinner ressies, now.

I just made breakfast reservations for our Dec. trip. Look forward to hearing some reviews!

I was hoping their menu would be kind of like Boma's, but oh well. Green beans and mashed potatoes in Africa it is!

I was like :confused3 as well
you'd think they'd try to make it a little themed

The breakfast sounds good. Glazed ham, yam casserole, warm bread pudding, yum! I can't wait :thumbsup2

Dinner sounds a little bit ordinary and I wish they had cooked salmon rather than smoked.

However, I am toying with the idea of cancelling Le Chefs de France and giving this a go for our AK day.

No time to find out how good it is before we go though.

I don't know, most of these lunch and dinner selections are similar to what we used to get before they made the change so we are pleasantly surprised. We have always enjoyed the food at Tusker house and I am sure that we will give this a try. It is nice that they have some kid friendly selections. If we want Boma we can go to Boma I guess.

As I understand the original post, the character meal is for breakfast only. Is there a reason they don't continue the character theme through lunch and dinner (like the Crystal Palace)?

Sounds a bit boring... I too wonder why they aren't doing character's for lunches and dinners as well. Unless something was incorrectly stated in the first post (not that the OP was wrong, just that the person who they got it from was off). Seems a bit odd to do it that way.

I might try it... not a bad price, but I can still go to Trail's End for cheaper non-character buffet ;)
