Hi everybody! Where are all the usual suspects hiding this weekend?

To answer your question Ohanafamily, I found a little shop here in our little town and the man who owns it charges $40 to troubleshoot and fix the problem, plus cost of parts. Keep your fingers crossed for me. He came highly recommended, so I'm not worried about him, just whether or not it will cost more to fix it than it's worth to keep it. Hey, after all the pokes and pricks, do you leak when you drink?

I'm a little concerned about Deadheadbelle. Someone has really gotten under her skin on the DB. We may need to pull an intervention soon. Who was it that drug her over there? She is so easily tempted to go over to the dark side, having been raised in a family that loves to argue and rant and rave and cuss up a storm. She's usually an easy-going, mellow person, unless you ruffle her feathers. That's when the baby of the family AND only girl, used-to-getting-her-way-thing kicks in and she HAS to win! I'm on my way now to check on her. Hang in the Belle, I got your back girlfriend!

After all the talk here about the DB, I wandered back over...UGH! Are there some narrow-minded people over there. I could have sworn a debate was supposed to be a level-headed discussion between people of differing opinions. It seems to be more of a mud-slinging board.

I'm waiting to hear what they have to say about me.

I think I am going to enjoy getting people all worked up over there. Heehee...

I have never posted on here before but everyone seems so friendly. I have been reading posts over on the DB as well and I know what you mean about mud slinging. I much prefer the friendly folk on this thread.

I'm on my lunch break from all my weekend projects. Am seeing some headway, but have been interrupted a bit by playmates. You know, HAD to go to a movie and dinner last night, HAD to meet friends for breakfast today and I may HAVE to take a little nap after lunch!

I'll do one big project after lunch then it just might be STORYTIME tonight. I think it may be two installments before we're done, as lots still happens and everything must get resolved with acts of selflessness!

I may pop over to the debate board and see if I need to grab some Taglikins by the ears and drag them back here where it's safe and warm! Then it's back to work for me.

I made it out of the DB! Thanks ohanafamily for letting me borrow the GPS. I bet you didn't even now I had it!! That is one ugly, scary place. Things are much brighter here.

Mad4Mickey, we plan to go to the World the first week of October. Dates aren't concrete yet as I am waiting on word from DH's employer to make sure his vacation request was honored.

Deadheadbelle have your DH tell his boss he's holding up people all across the country trying to make their vacation plans.

I think we'll use time share points (not DVC) to keep the cost down for an Oct trip. When you guys know your dates, the rest of us fence sitters can proceede. Anybody know how early in Oct MNSSHP starts? I'll be doing Tower of Terror for the first time this trip......and then there's Mission Space to consider

Just realized, if all goes as planned, I'll need ALL NEW CLOTHES for this trip......outlet malls, here I come!

Well all, the DB on the Lap Babies got soooooooo bad, the mod closed it. She suggested a new thread be started called bickering over opinions, so I da to do it. I had to respond to some comments about my stupidity I just could let go. llebrekniT , Ohanafamily , RRBB , Deadheadbelle , Bichon Barb, cheeringmom , and all else who posted that I may have missed, please help me. I don't know what has come over me and I think I have been brain washed. It must be the packing and excitement of the trip.

I hope things go well for you and you need to get new clothes for your trip. This happened to me when I visited WDW last year and it felt great. Plus I love those outlet malls near to the park. I bought so much I needed another suitcase to go home with!!

Thank you to everyone for your sympathy for my cold. I have just had a hot blackcurrent drink and will probably go off to bed soon as it is nearly 10pm here and I have to be up for work tomorrow. I only had one day off in 6 years (when I stood on a nail and couldn't walk - another story) so I have to go in (I feel too guilty otherwise!)

Danauk if you need to take a day from work....it will hardly tarnish your outstanding record. Take it! I am sure they will understand. DO feel better!

I'm glad you are not banned and that you feel inner peace now. I would take a day off work but I feel too guilty doing it. I am a primary school teacher and if I do not go in my class will probably be split between the other classes which isn't fair on the children or the other teachers. If I take my kleenex balsam tissues in with me and my lemsip max strength I should be OK. Plus the kids are usually great when they can see you are not well.

Okay, you all have me quite interested in what is happening over on the DB. I try to avoid that forum. You know where that phrase started:

Be afraid, be VERY afraid came from? It started from another poster here on the DIS who visited the DB way too often! I guess I will head over there and check it out and see what all the ruckus is about! If you don't hear from me in a while, send out a search party!

By the way, welcome Danauk! Don't feel guilty about calling in sick! I think with your record of not calling in, no one will question the validity of your illness!
