thanks so much for your input. So glad to hear the good news. I figured that was probably the case, but we have not been back since 04 and I just didn't know! I can't wait for our trip!

Hi anyone have any idea where these rooms are located and what kind of a view they will have. I have been told that none of them have balconies thanks

Sorry that I have no info on the handicap rooms, but I will be at the Dolphin very soon and ask.
I truly would not keep going back if we had experienced any adverse conditions such as a previous poster mentioned.
Yes, there are sometimes small concerns that are quickly addressed, but we have been fortunate to have loved our stays at both hotels. We are so excited that the time is drawing near!

I have been in two HC rooms over the years. One of them had a view of the dumpster and the other one had a great view.....we could see MK in the far, far distance.....even watched the fireworks over the castle in the distance!

I'm going back in December and am hoping for the latter view!

My husband and I will be spending our 25th Anniversary at the Dolphin in June. I've read that the Dolphin rooms have coffee makers, are the regular "mr. coffee" type? I just wanted to know whether to bring my own coffee, filters etc.

Also is there a bus stop for the Dolphin and a separate one for the Swan or is there just one location? If so where it is located.

We have booked a king bed resort view room overlooking crescent lake? Do you thing we'll be pleased?

The coffee makers are the "single cup" style, so a coffee pot filter will be too big.

There is a bus stop in front of the Dolphin - you exit through the lobby, out the front door, and follow the walkway down the left side of the driveway. It is a covered area with benches for you to wait.

I'm sure your view will be lovely! Happy Anniversary!! (we celebrate 25 years next October!)

You can get all the Starbucks coffee you want. I just see the housekeepers when they are in the hall and they will give you whatever you ask for, whether it is coffee, extra towels, shampoo or what have you.

And the Swan, and the Dolphin, each have their own bus stops.

Just wondering if any of the executive suites have a view of the epcot fireworks?
Thanks!

Yes, quite a few of them have that view, but be aware that none of them have balconies, if that's important to you.

We love the exec suites-they're roomy beyond belief!

For our upcoming trip, we needed more beds, so opted for connecting double-doubles. I am so gonna miss that extra room in the exec suite. I guess having the balconies back will be nice, though....I guess.....:sad1:

Not sure I could do this, but I'm busting just thinking about it.

BF feels so bad that his daughter put such a damper on our March trip (expected to be last w/my 16yo son) that he told me to book another trip for just my boys and I and he'd pay. I really don't think I could do that to him, but how could I not at least look into it :confused3 - I mean it's the least I could do for him to help ease his guilt - right? ;) :lmao:

The only time I could go would be Thanksgiving weekend. Do any of you know if there would be any great rates/promos at S/D during that time? I qualify for the teacher rate and found a rate of $149/night, which of course is fantastic, but not sure if some of the other promotions might better.

Thanks

62 days to go and I am coming out of my skin! My DH hates this phase of the trip planning. I have my day to day plans set, the ADR's are done, transportation to and from the airport booked, garden grocer order done...

What he hates is...as he refers to it...."my obsessive compulsive planning phase"....LOL I think this is an ongoing phase....but now I am down to the following:

1. Does anyone know if there are hangers in the alcove room walk in closets and if so about how many...

I guess I see his point now that I have typed this!

I think I'm with your hubby on this one. :lmao:

We are 28 days until our trip... I guess I should book that to and from airport stuff?! :hippie:

(before you think I am not like you at all... today I am actually taking clothes out to start packing...)
:dance3:

I would start packing but they would scream at me...maybe just my own clothes...hmmm that's a thought......:rolleyes1

Please don't fuss at me because I know my answer is on here somewhere but there's so many posts on this thread...:guilty: I can't find it.
What's the best way to get from MCO to the resort?
The military discount looks to good to pass up and I'm considering the Dolphin for my December trip! But I'm going to miss the magical express. :sad2:

If you have no need for a car while at Disney, I would say either Mears or a limo. I always rent a car.

I've been charged with booking all the dining for a group of 10 staying at the Swan in December. Being new to the game, and a bit nervous with the responsibility, I created a reservation at the Swan earlier than my actual arrival date to "practice" making reservations, just to see how it worked and what would be available.

Went to the new booking menu on the "My Disney Vacation" page. Although I couldn't pull up my reservation (Disney hotels only), I notice that the +10 days was already in the calender. When I requested a day 190 out, it prompted me for my reservation. I put in my reservation, and I was able to book everything, including LeCellier, Tusker character b-fast, coral reef and California Grill, all at the times I wanted!

However, I was referred back to the "old" reservation page for Cinderella's RT, which was the most important ADR that I wanted. We all want to have dinner there prior to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party. Unfortunately, I could not retrieve my reservation, received an error message:
E02020305003

Anyone else ever receive this? I guess I could call the dinning plan, but since it's really a fake reservation, just wanted to check here first

that error has happened to a lot of us, I think I rememebr it relating to times being unavailable, or it may have been just a glitch with the system. Keep trying or you can always call WDW dining, which I would do for a ressie that large anyway. Good Luck!
