I just got off the phone with the S/D--they have a max of 5 for the one bedroom exec. suite and we are a party of 7. They did quote me a AAA rate for the one bedroom and then added the second bedroom with the stay connected rate of 119.00. It averages out (we are splitting the cost with another family) about $77.00 more per night than if we were to keep the ressie at 2 standard rooms. I'm going to go with the 2 standards, and who knows, maybe I'll get a resort view comp upgrade when I get there??
I must've seen photos somewhere----I'll have a look see and post if I find any.
Happy Planning!
Sound like that is the better way to go.
We got a teachers discount rate of $309 for the executive suite, which ended up being cheaper than 2 separate rooms at a moderate resort. We still may have gone with one of the mods (girls might have liked the themes more), but when they couldn't guarantee adjoining rooms, we had to rule them out. Not sure why we didn't check about 2 adjoining rooms at the s/d? I think we just liked the idea of the suite better.
If your able to come across some photos of the executive suites, please post them. It would greatly be appreciated.

I was afraid of that
So 50% off the rate quoted was still way higher than most rates I can find online!

(actually, as has every CM I have ever encountered at both Swan & Dolphin)

High school graduation present will be a trip to London and/or Paris this year. (if it were my choice, I'd be back at the Dolphin, sipping my espresso martini....)
