The Dolphin and Swan do not participate in the DDP. They are not Disney owned properties.
My understanding is that youncan still make reservations at the Disney parks and resorts 180 days out but not for the full 10 days. Most likely you will have to call back each day unless you get a very cooperative CM.
The 180 days in advance or the 180 + 10 have never been very important to us, but I think your post helped me understand the purpose of the +10. I always assumed the 180 + 10 was essentially letting people staying at a Disney resort book 190 days in advance. But if I'm reading your post correctly at 180 days mark you can book up to 10 days worth of reservations for your vacation? If that's the case, the +10 part makes more sense and is more useful than I imagined.
Do either or both Swan/Dolphin have queen beds?
Swan has queens-Dolphin has doubles. They are a little bigger than your regular double at home. Don't remember what they are called.Do either or both Swan/Dolphin have queen beds?
Just checked into the Dolphin. Got a balcony room looking at the Studios.
Leaving early tomorrow am... So excited! I was booked for a deluxe alcove, but when I checked ressie today, looks like they moved me to a premium studio! We shall see what happens tomorrow. I will be peeking in here every so often and maybe post pics!

Edited b/c I was not done typing.... Silly fingers!
How are you checking online?
I received an email after I made the reservation. I am also a Starwood member. You can use your reservation number or Starwood number to log in and check the reservation from the link in the email.
The Weston Link, that is says click to change
(staying at the Swan)
And I had forgotten to put my SPG number in when I made this reservation, so it is not showing up on my SPG account, but it is there when I click from the email.
