So, I was reading a debate on another board about whether Jake imprinted on Bella or not.

Your thoughts? Did he or didn't he?

I just got back from The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and the Twilight teaser trailer was the first preview! I know we've all seen it like a million times, but on the big screen, it's amazing.

I literally gave it a standing ovation, and a few other people clapping but people thought I was crazy.

Oh well.

If I had the money, I'd go buy a ticket to Narnia just to watch the Twilight preview again! I was too busy hyperventilating the first time to actually take it all in! haha.

Oh boy, I freaked out when I saw the trailer..
I was opening the door, and then I heard "How old are you?"
And I started jumping up and down screaming OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!
Then I ran to my seat, fell to the floor
My friends caught up with me, and then I started repeating what they were saying in the trailer
After it was over (still on the floor at this point) I kept asking, for around 5 minutes, DID YOU SEE THAT??!?! DID YOU SEE THAT ****ING TRAILER!!?!?
I've never felt like such a fangirl before =/
It took me 15 minutes to get back into my seat.

I was totally saying all the words too! My friends thought I was nuts, cause they didn't know it was already available. They thought this was my first time seeing it! I probably looked pretty stupid...but who cares!?

He tried to but you can't force yourself to imprint on someone, so he was unsuccessful.

Jacob did NOT imprint on Bella. If he did, he would have told her everything the first time he saw her after he phased.
End of story.

A. No. And this is how you can be sure: in New Moon, after the first time Jacob becomes his wolf phase, he is mean to Bella. He won't tell her what is wrong. He says he can't see her anymore. If he'd imprinted on Bella in that moment (and it happens the first time you see the person after you've phased), he would have answered all her questions. Pretty much, he would have given her anything in the world she wanted. (When he's staring at her on the bottom of page 173 in Eclipse, he's trying to make himself imprint on her. But that's not something you can force.)
