theres no such thing as a kids movie
theres good movies
and theres bad/stupid movies
and out of those there are either films that are appropriate for children or inappropriate for children

but theres no such thing as a kids movie

what i dont like is that they take advantage of children and make crappy movies for them just to make money off of them ...know wat i mean?

and thats what i like about disney movies...good quality family movies pirate:

i never thought of classifying movies that way, danger. nice.

& yes, i get what you mean, but some movies for kids actually entertain me. for example, the other day i was watching ratatouille and was amused.
wow.

ratatouille isn't a kids movie. it's a good movie. a great movie, in fact. you're only 14. settle down and get over yourself. if you think ratatouille is a kids movie, i'd hate to think what you're watching in order to appear 'adult.'

not really. the parents become victims of the people that make those crappy kids movies also.
well that's exactly it - the parents buy crap movies that are advertised as 'for kids'.

if the stupid parents were smarter they would just buy films with intellectual plots and good acting and no sexual overtones or swear words for their kids.
but most parents these days just don't care enough.

yes, pixar movies are probably some of the best quality family movies we have these days.

also the term 'family movie' bothers me
if you're at a movie that you couldn't watch with your family, either your family is idiotic and you don't need them, or you shouldn't be at such a lousy movie anyway.

they are called family movies because its for the whole family......R movies are for adults . PG13 are for teens and older, etc.
