Why what's wrong?

Most people who have been here have been to Disney more than once and have stayed there.

My parents absolutely DESPISE of Disney.
I had to BEG my parents to let me go to Disney for one of the days we were in Florida. Same with California.

Don't get me wrong- I am SO grateful that I even got to GO to them.

but as far as staying at disney? Getting to go on rides that I liked as opposed to rides "everyone in the family" would like?

I get so jealous of everyone on here when they talk about their next trip being their 8 or 9th time! and for more than one day!

I'm automatically jealous. :guilty:

I'm sorry

I'm jealous of people who go every year.
Sometimes when I'm on the DIS, filled with people going every few months, I forget how lucky I've been thus far.

My parents don't despise Disney, but they'd rather not vacation there (we don't vacation anymore, with my mom's illness anyways). My dad just likes the bonding time with me.

I'm going solo and paying for it next year because its the only way I could go and it not be years and years away.

In a few more years, you'd be able to go by yourself, and do exactly what you want.

Yeah I can be jealous of these people too sometimes. I've only been to Disneyworld once to. I did get to stay there for 10 days and I stayed on ground. But it did take a long time for me to get there. I'm going back this summer but I will never be able to go as often as some people on the boards.

Ditto.

And I am aware that based on my signature that statement seems extremely false buuuut:
My TDL was a one day thing, we lived in Tokyo, and none of the Japanese had Thanksgiving off (just the Americans living in Japan), so it was like dead.

All of my DL's have been one day/afternoon things.
1 and 2. We were visiting friends in SoCal and my parents took me and my bro with their friends
3. Was in SoCal for D23 (which took a ton of pleading and "Once in a lifetime opprotunity" speeches) and college visits, managed one day to go to DL (begggiiiinnnggg)
Actually, I was in the womb the first time I went to DL (it was the year Toontown had opened, and my parents still lived in SoCal)

WDW:
1. The Once In A Lifetime trip
2. Brother has baseball tournament in Orlando, we spend about 7 (VERY HOT) hours in the MK
3. Wasn't sure about my mom's health/just became obsessed with Disney (begged for one last vacation with my mom - and yes, it was our last vacation together as a family.. she's still alive, just incapable of travel :goodvibes)

Most of my trips have just been In-the-right-place-at-the-right-time. We've only had 2 actually planned trips to WDW and one semi-planned visit to DL.

So, while I can't say I know how you feel
I do get it a little bit.

OMG! When I came home from London today, I turned on the TV and guess what was on?

It was Doug!

Didn't spend much time in London. Actually that's a lie, but I spent about 3 hours travelling, 75 minutes in the cold outside the BBC Television Centre, and over 3 hours inside the centre. But it's all in London.

If I got a facebook,I'd have no pictures to put up.

the whole self-confidence thing means I take two photo, at most, of me a year :p

I totally get that.
I'm thankful that I've even been at all!
Especially since my parents despise of it so much!
My Grandmother LOVES WDW. I wish I could go with her - you know? like a grandmother/grandaughter trip. We like all the same rides :)
Especially because she thinks 87 is too old to go back to Disney.
I say shes still a kid at heart and she may do whatever she wants to! :snooty:

I mean, her motto is, "I plan to live forever. So far, so good." :rotfl:

Same here. Only pictures of me have a cartoon character in it too. You don't have to put a pic of yourself. In my RL i dont have a pic of myself because of my self-esteem
