Wow. that is great!! Imagine a hot air balloon ride. the prize I would love is the breakfast on Main street with dozens of characters. Imagine having that many characters all together at one time.

Lots of trips for 2008!

If you're entering by mail, there are a couple of differences for next year. The 2008 rules specify hand-writing your personal information (no pre-printed labels?), has slightly different mailing addresses, and allows either a piece of paper (in an envelope?) or a postcard of unspecified size.

Thanks for the help. I do have all the updated software (Safari, OS X, Flash) I should be able to run it, but for some reason I always seem to have problems with flash. Who knows, something isn't set up right. All is not lost as there is a PC in the house, I am just to lazy to go and fire it up!

I have Flash issues sometimes too. And the funny thing is my issue was just some unchecked boxes under the preferences of safari. The Allow plug-in box was unchecked and then when it was checked all my plug-ins worked except for a few issues with flash sometimes.

Ok the hot air balloon ride is the only thing that I can actually say that we would probably turn down if offered to us. I know that turning down a dream sounds crazy...but DH & I are absolutely terrified of heights, especially when we're in a "small" area that's not completely enclosed. It's even to the point where my legs shake so bad that they wind up being so sore for a couple of days because of the shaking. But I love all the other ones!!

Looks like lots more trips this year. Very cool. I would want the VIP tour of Walt's apartment.

On a side note it looks like they're doing the Dream time again (certain park open later w/ select attractions for dreamed guests). Did anyone experience this this past year? I haven't heard much about it.

I can not imagine having Castaway Cay all to ourselves! Love the hot air balloons, breakfast on Main Street, I am excited just thinking about it all!!!!

Yes, there are two DVC membership prizes for 2008, and the dues are paid.

You're right - there's only one Private Island trip (part of a 4-day cruise) and only one Global Grand Marshal trip.

I counted a total of 33 trip packages, including the parks, DCL, Adventures by Disney, and New York City. Some are restricted to specific dates, others must be completed by September 2009.

Each of the DVC and travel prizes includes a cash payment to help with taxes on the prize.
