Can someone tell me what the "bounceback" offer usually is? We are going to the Poly in Jan 2010, but Im thinking about trying to go back for the MNSSHP that fall...Does that seem crazy that I haven't even been on the Jan trip, and Im already planning another??!:upsidedow

Will we have access to the CL lounge before we actually get our room? We are arriving very early in the day and wondering if we will have access to the lounge?

Thanks!

That doesn't seem crazy to me at all!:goodvibes

I don't think there is any "usual." When we were at WDW earlier this month, the offer was 30% deluxe and 40% deluxe villas.

In regards to BB, they are targeting specific dates, correct? Also, we are arriving June 1, is BB generally offered then?

TIA!!!:goodvibes

:scratchin Another bounceback question...

I have a trip planned in June this year with one group of friends and...
me and another couple of friends will be going to the world in Oct 2010. My questions are ..
:confused3 Will I be able to ressie a bounce back for the later part of the following year?
:upsidedow Does it have to be the same resort? Or can I ressie for a different resort? (2010 we want 2 bdrm BCV)
 How much $$ do I have to put down in order to ressie?
:scratchin How much of a discount is it usually?

Sorry for all the questions but I just know someone will know the answer on here. Everyone is so extremely helpfull on here.:goodvibes

Also, yes, you can substitute fries, but we were unable to do it at the ordering station -- had to follow up with the cashier when reordering the food.

HTH a little! :) Have a great trip!!

What do you mean by "reordering the food". Not sure Im following that. Do you have to place an order twice for food here?

After you place your order you can go to the cash register so you can pay and they will give you a pager which will go off when your order is ready. I guess then the Cast Member at the cash register is able to make the substitution.

I'm not postive on this latest bounceback offer, but there are usually specific dates that it is good for. Not sure if you will have the opportunity to book it for the later part of the following year. Maybe someone will share the current bounceback offer. Check on the codes & rates board.

No, it doesn't need to be the same resort. But, it is hard to book BCV and sometimes you neeed to wait until the 7 mo booking window to do that after DVC owners book.

$200 down for the ressie.

I think it is usually 10% for value, 20% mod, 30% deluxe and deluxe villa. But again, this can change depending on the bounceback offer.

Have fun!:goodvibes

After we ordered at the touch screens, the cashiers would take our ticket and re-read our order to us. Then we'd have to go over what we wanted on burgers, any substitutions, etc. It seemed very redundant and slowed the process, so we weren't crazy about it.

Has anyone stayed in the Niue longhouse recently? I read in older posts that it used to be the smoking longhouse. It seems like a pretty good location, but leery of smoke smell (it never really seems to completely go away). This is will be our first stay at the Poly and I'm trying to figure out which room to request (or where to avoid I suppose). Have a toddler and 10 month old so close proximity to GCH and monorail is a big factor.

Suggestions? TIA :) !!!!

We've never stayed in Niue but have walked through it many times over the years. In years past, the hall did at times reek of cigarette smell. But on the same day, we could walk through and not smell anything. Now there is never any odor in the hall.

I think WDW is expert at removing smoke odors. I wouldn't worry about it at all. And the location is exceedingly convenient.
