Aloha Everyone!!!
Here's the lastest scoop on our vacation. Last night we went to MK for EMH. We arrived about 715 or so and it was very crowded on Main Street because everyone was waiting for 800 fireworks. Kinda made me thing we made mistake going, but as it turned out, it wasn't crowded at all on the rides. We went over to Buzz and rode it twice and then the Laugh floor. We then headed over to Haunted Mansion, Splash and Big Thunder Mountains, Pirates and then the Jungle Cruise and were back on Main Street about 920. No lines on the rides BUT...lines for the CMs to check resort IDs at the entrances to rides. That was a total pain in the buttocks! I don't think they were looking too closely at the dates, but who knows for sure.

One CM said it's because of how much plastic wrist bands wind up in landfills, but I think it's just to save money. I think they could come up with some kind of bio-degradable material to make them out of if they really wanted to. Oh well.
Oh, on the monorail back to the resort last night I overheard something I thought was quite funny. There was a couple with 2 children sitting across from us and the wife said to her husband as we go by the new CR DVC building (which no one on property knows what it is) and says...."I wonder what that hotel is going to be?" Her husband replies "The Grand Canyon hotel!"

My DH looked and me and we both tried very hard to not bust out laughing. I bit my tongue and didn't say anything but boy, was it hard.
Today we went to BB, got there at rope drop and it was really quiet. Had an incident at the end of Teamboat Springs happen. When we rounded the last turn I noticed there was a back up of rafts. I knew this could be bad and braced myself for a collision. We only had about 5-8 feet off the end of the slide to go anywhere and yup, as I predicted, we ran into the other rafts. The problem was that we actually went under the raft in front of us and my head and neck got slammed forward. Normally not great, but not so bad for the average person, but I have had neck surgery a few yrs ago and shoulder surgery just 18 months ago. Well, after I was able to get the other raft off of my head, I jumped out of the raft and started pushing everyone out of the way because here comes another raft ready to slam into us. Finally, when I got under the bridge closer to the exit I saw the life guard and told her of the problem and that I was hurt. I wasn't too thrilled with her reaction, so I left and continued on to guest services and then to first aid. I wanted them to be aware of the problem so it didn't happen to someone else!! I was given ibprofin (sp?) and an ice pack at the first aid station and finally got to speak to a manager about it. Honestly, I didn't think it was given much priority, and they said they had a monitor watching that area and they would check into it. I just hope that doesn't happen to anyone else because it scared the heck out of me! Thank goodness it wasn't one of my boys or any other child for that matter. I am pretty sore (from the back of my neck, down my arm to the elbow and midway down my back) so I decided not to do anymore slides today. Want to see how I feel later or in the morning. I went to the bar and had a few adult beverages to help me relax!
Tonight we are heading over to Epcot and planning on eating around the world. I wanted to go see Spectro, but I got out voted. Not too upset, afterall, I am at Disney!!
One other thing I noticed....photopass photographers are few and far between. I'm disappointed in this as I prepaid for my cd already and I really haven't gotten very many pics taken. I might reconsider and get a refund if things don't get any better.
TTFN!
