Are towels provided, or do you need to bring from your room if you wanted to go to beach?

Yes, there are bins of towels there. All the Deluxe resorts offer this. The Volcano pool borders the beach, so it's right there :thumbsup2

Hey! Yes, I "tinker" w/ my countdown ;) I will totally be posting live :surfweb: Can't wait!!

I'll be watching/waiting for your posts! You take the best photos! (must not be a little point & shoot, I'm guessing). I've debated getting a better camera for our trip, especially for the safari, but then we'll have to carry it all over the place (and the bigger ones are heavy!).

 For going really, really soon! You must be getting really excited!

I was wondering how many oz are the refillable mugs at the poly? and how much are they now? I am going to the Poly on my honeymoon in september and i am thinking of getting them for me and my DFi while we are there for the land portion of our trip (since he is always thirsty and for some reason he doesn't like water)

Thanks. Actually, it is a point and shoot:laughing: Some pics are awful - very blurred. But some are beautiful. I take a lot ;)

Yes, I am very excited. I'm FREEZING today. Can't wait to be in sunny Florida :sunny:

I just measured ... 14 ounces to the brim, 12 ounces if you want to put the lid on and not get splashed. They cost $12.99 + tax.

Thank You MsStinkerBelle and CleveRocks:worship: :) I really appreciate it. I know it is 6 months away but i am trying to get all of the questions i think of answered before we go. i have been to disney at least 10 times maybe more and i have stayed on site 3 times but i have never stayed at the poly and can not wait my whole family is jealous of me and my DFi.:thumbsup2

Oh, I hope not at the beach! That would spoil the view of the castle from the pool. Maybe the quiet pool?

No - I was thinking the area to the left if you are at the zero-entry end of the Volcano pool, looking toward Magic Kingdom. Not directly in front of the pool :)

I believe this is the 'quiet beach' that is next to the Tuvalu longhouse and in front of the Aotearoa longhouse. :thumbsup2

I am getting so excited about our trip in less than a month now.:cool1: I can't think about anything else. All I do is continue to look up more reviews before we leave as they are updated. I feel like all I do is dream about about it or think about it. :dance3: I am so silly! Do you think so????:cheer2: Please tell me if I am crazy! LOL:rolleyes1

Most of us on this board are a little, well, obsessed! So don't sweat it, just enjoy the pre-trip magic!

One thing to do which might help appease the appetite of excitement is to rent or buy a few classic Disney movies. This gets everyone geared up for the trip and educated on the story-lines (and more importantly, the characters) you are about to encounter.

No - I just meant the area of the beach that is alongside the walkway to the dock and in front of the poolside bar and hut that has the hair wrapping - that would seem like the spot for cabanas :cutie:

Well then, I guess I'll just try taking a lot of photos this time! I hope some come out good enough to post!:)

Thanks to those of you who helped answer my "bathroom storage space" question! And thanks, Johnsonet for posting the pix! Looks like we'll ahve PLENTY of room! woohoo!

Is there storage for your luggage or will it fit under the bed? Nothing irks me more than being in a hotel and having to leave my luggage out to trip over it all the time. hehe I pray there's a place to keep it tucked away at the Poly!! :lovestruc

I am very jealous that you will be at the Poly soon. Have fun:beach:

BUT...I have no sympathy for you saying it is cold in SC. Come on. I live in WI. I was tt my mom the other day and she was saying it was in the 80s and she got a sunburn planting some blueberries. I know, I know, I am from SC and folks in SC put on heavy coats when it is 50 degrees. Up here, that is short sleeve weather.:rotfl2:

is it true that the rooms in Tuvalu only have 1 sink? Its not a big deal to us but I was just wondering. And Ive checkted the tikimans site but i wanna be triple sure...

Are ALL 3rd floor rooms in Tuvalu MKV? I requested 3rd floor tuvalu and were booked MKV so im hopinggggg :)

No. There is no storage under the bed. There is an area in between the wall and the desk to store the suitcases or in between the bed and the wall. This is my one complaint about the Poly. No where to put empty luggage away (out of my sight).
