Wanted to mention that if anyone needs to buy Universal tickets, we got ours at Costco. 139$ for a 3 day hopper!! That is a really good deal. They can be used for child or adult.

Thanks everyone.... they have been "deploying" some of the College Program kids off to DTD for shifts... she is going in tomorrow to talk to her supervisors... hopefully they can stop the deployments but unless she gets someone to take the shift she is stuck with it...

I need to borrow a set of suitcases from DMIL. I've never bought any because she has 3-4 sets and they don't travel! DMIL has a tiney, winey bit of a shopping problem.

I called DME and the girl wasn't so magical. She said DS16s flight information wasn't there because I never gave it to them. I gave it to them at the same time that I gave them DD14s flight information. I hope his luggage tags arrive soon. I feel sorry for travelers that don't know what should be included in all of the mailings.

Sheila, I'm so sorry you had to reschedule your trip. You've been instrumental in keeping this thread going.

I'm missing about 4 ADRs. I haven't put in our confirmation numbers yet. I'll see if that helps.

MAGGIED, I hope your DD can get some time off on her birthday. Maybe her B-day needs to come to DTD.

Hi Everyone! 11 days!! 11 days!! 11 days!!!

Nope..we are actually trying the autotrain for the first time. We leave the 13th to arrive at BWV on the 14th. .My husband transfered airline miles to Amtrak. We are in for an adventure for sure Not really my idea...but I think the kids are going to love it.

We took the autotrain down when my oldest was 9 months and it wasn't that bad.. granted I wouldn't do it again with a baby! but I know my boys know would love it.. 7 and 3.. I may do it next summer when we go down to Florida for a few weeks.. you should have fun.

November Rehabs and Closures:

MK:

Construction for the Fantasyland expansion has begun, necessitating the closing of several existing Magic Kingdom areas. Pooh's Playful Spot playground, Ariel's Grotto Character meet-and-greet and Scuttle's Landing have closed. Pooh and Tigger will appear in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A. Enchanted Grove will now be open in Fantasyland for Extra Magic Hour mornings offering coffee and muffins. The Fantasyland pretzel cart will be located near Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Frozen Coca-Cola products will continue to be available at The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland.

Mad Tea Party will be closed for refurbishment September 26 - November 10, 2010

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - Closed for Refurbishment October 25 - November 14, 2010

Epcot:
