Can't wait!!!!
Been checking the weather... it's gonna be cold! Most days in the mid-60's! Where's the warm Florida weather???
Oh well... still warmer than here!
And enjoy every minute!!
If I wasn't already planning the next trip (just me and hubby this time
) it would be sooo depressing!

I can't believe it is finally here!!!! We'll be heading from Texas, so maybe I will see some of you New Orleans folks on I-10!!!! So excited!!!!!

Everyone headed out for Thanksgiving week.
Finally able to do online check in last night. I didnt like only having four options for the room to choose from. I will probably call the first of the week to make sure our requests (bed rails) our AAA agent made are on our reservations. DD's teachers gave her quite a few things to do while we are gone (evil laugh
), but she has been good to start some of it. She is off to watch HP tonight with friends. DS got his haircut today. Picked up dry cleaning and finished making signs for the stroller. Charged the ipods and camera batteries. Its just last minute
and we are ready to roll.
Hope everyone is staying healthy. Travelers and those of us trying to wait patiently to take our turn...
)and will arrive that evening to our hotel at Downtown Disney then on to POP on Sunday morning!!We should have been checking into the Poly about now. It hurts... bad!![]()
I know how you feel, everyday of the week we were to originally be there I kept thinking tonight we would have been at MVMCP or today we be at Epcot etc etc, but ya know something once it was the day we were to be coming back I did not feel so bad anymore since I know we have our next trip booked and I have all the new planning to look forward to
Do you have all your ADR's for next trip picked out yet so you can call soon?![]()

Things went sooo smooth. The only bump was that I and DD9 had some sea sickness, mine was fixed with the seabands and she still had problems, even with the seabands, until the 3rd and last night. But she really had a great time every day! Our WDW part of the trip was perfect! Great weather, relaxed park time, 5 to 25 min wait time for most rides. Most of the time, rode the ride, kids wanted to ride again and walked right back on. My kids are so spoiled, if the time was 20 min they didn't want to wait but get a Fast Pass! The only day I really had a 'must do' was the arrival day and Fantasmic! and Osborne Dancing Lights! We did Magic Kingdom until our BLT room was ready and unloaded the rental car and headed right to Hollywood Studios and got in line for F! while the rest of the family ran around the park and got something to eat as we sat and waited. Great show to start off WDW! We have never seen it and we were impressed! Was worth the wait time. Right after the show, even though they said they were tired, I made them go over to see the lights! "Wow!" was all we could say! After that day we kind of just did what the kids wanted. I was waiting for a total melt-down from someone, but it never came!
The kids were great and we all had a wonderful time. We did not do MVMCP but got to see the fireworks from our room and they were crazy big!!
Used so much info from DISboards to make this trip go smooth so THANK YOU ALL!!
One other thing We Loved the Dole Whips!
But, we had the best time EVER! The only rain was on Tuesday night as we were ready to hop on the boat from DTD back to POFQ, not bad at all. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! I ended up canceling our ADR at La Hacienda on Thurs night at 8, even though we really wanted to see Illuminations from the restaurant, we had such a long day and just didn't have it in us to stay. Luckily I was able to change to an ADR at Boatwrights at POR and we were pleasantly surprised at how fantastic the food was there since I've rarely read a decent review. We took the short walk along the river to the restaurant and then strolled back afterward, very nice! The DDP is just way too much food for us, we walked around positively stuffed and rarely were able to eat dessert; brought back fresh fruit from Sci Fi, pecan pie (DELICIOUS! Which I ate for breakfast on Friday morning
) from Boatwrights. We got in some pool time every day even though a couple of days it was sort of chilly, soaked in the hot tub every night. The only really crowded time was Sunday night because of F! and the Osborne lights, but it wasn't crowded enough to be horrible. Got a couple of photos of the refurbed rooms at POFQ at night, through the window blinds, it's going to be fabulous and I can't wait to start planning our next trip and staying there.
Bus service was very good, we never had to wait very long and only shared with POR one afternoon. I also switched out our ADR from breakfast at 1900 Park Fare to lunch at the Crystal Palace which we all really enjoyed. I cried during Wishes, just as I always do, and the castle dressed in icicles is so, so, so beautiful. I just love WDW so much.

The night's are all mid's 50 to mid 60's. Let's hope it keeps getting warmer. This is much better then last year during Thanksgiving week, I was wearing hat's and gloves most of the week.
Not at all. A few places have been thrown around. 'Ohana dinner and breakfast, 50's Prime Time (because believe it or not, we have never ate there!), Chef Mickeys, CRT. But as of now, we can't even decide where we are going to stay. If we were going alone, it would be a no brainer - surprise the girls with The Poly like we had planned- and are currently booked. But our friends want to stay value. So, I am shooting for a mod! lol I just can't seem to get in the planning mode. Which is very odd for me. I think maybe my WDW addiction has been cured.
And the cure is.... Cancel the perfect trip! The one where everything is perfect, that has been paid off for months, that you have the money to still go on, and say its being responsible (even if it was)...![]()
