The NEW Official November 2010 Countdown & Planning Thread ~ Come join us! (Part 2)

Can't wait, 7 days here!

Spent the day listening to DIS radio and tie dying our Mickey head T-shirts. I hope they turn out better than the last batch I did.

I also scored a 6pm Coral Reef for our Epcot day!!!!!

To everyone who has just left or travelling soon, have a wonderful journey! :wizard:

DS's birthday party was today. Noon for the kid party, 3 for the family party. I am pooped! I hope everyone had a good time.

Guess what? WE LEAVE ON MONDAY!!!!:cheer2::cheer2:

Monday early evening to my cousin's house & super early Tuesday morning on the plane to MCO! It is so early Tuesday, that I think it could actually be Monday :rotfl:

Time to bring the big suitcase down from the attic & start some serious packing! :woohoo:

Just wanted to say 3 weeks from today, at this time I'll be in a hotel close to WDW (hopefully sleeping) to get up & go early the next morning to check into POP and head to the parks!!! Whoohoo!!

I sure hope it's warm the week we're there!

6 Days to go!! So excited! Hope I can get everything done, if not, oh well. I have a hair appointment on tuesday( no roots in my disney pictures). Hope to get my toes done too. Still have to clean house and finish packing me and little Walt. I hope to have all the clothes washed and put away. Hubby has to pack himself, pack the ice chest and food box. I am sure we have everything together just have to double check. We always over pack and I'm sure this year will be no differnt. 3 more work days and one class day and two off days til we leave.(We leave on class day) yayayayayayayay!!!
Oh got my Hydro Flask a few days ago and it is sooo cute. I love it! We have one for everone in our traveling party for this trip and in March. I think I am getting a pink one for Christmas, I hope.
I can't wait for Walt's hair cut. I want to put it in a ponytail sooo bad!!His Daddy won't let me.

Thats about what I have packed for DS...minus the capris.;) I have a pair of shorts, pants, long sleeve shirt, and short sleeve shirt for each day. I figure we'll need to layer the shirts in the mornings. He wont be in the long sleeves very long and will be able to wear it that night. Thank goodness he's not a messy eater or I would have to plan on doing laundry while we're there.:thumbsup2 And we're driving so I can take the kitchen sink.:lmao:

Glad you posted this....it will help me as I pack TODAY!!! I have never waited this long to pack- I feel very behind!!!

THREE WEEKS!:dance3:

I have sooo much to do!

Next Saturday is DD's 8th birthday party - we decided to have it at AC Moore. We picked out the craft we will do yesterday, I will need to bake cupcakes and make treat bags.

Also, I'm having Thanksgiving Dinner for our whole family (plus boyfriends!)
I already have my menue planned so now it's just cleaning the house, grocery shopping and cooking:upsidedow!

Oh yeah, I have to do laundry for our trip and pack! I did make a packing list last weekend but haven't had time to shop for the last minutes things like toiletries and socks!

I have sooo much to do!:eek:

Leaving Wednesday and finally starting to pack today... Maybe since I'm just packing for me I've been putting it off.

However with the trip so close it's starting to feel surreal...

ha ha..yes wer are taking our car too with the Autotrain so I know I can bring alot..but I dont want to bring everything just because I can. I am trying to figure out what kind of jakcets to bring for the girls...if its in low to mid 50's at night.:lmao:

I think we're going to bring our shell/liner jackets -- the ones where there is a zip out lining. That way, if it does get really cold, we have the extra warmth...otherwise, it'll be some turtle-neck shirts, zip cardigans and the inner shell of the jacket for nighttime.

I'm excited since we can now track AccuWeather's 15 day forecast for FL and it includes part of our trip!! This is another indication that my trip is nearly here!!!

WOOHOO!! We leave Thursday! It has really come up on time to go FAST! I have not done anything to prepare...lol

I spent the last 3 days doing our Christmas decorating b/c it will be Thanksgiving week when we get home and I did not want to wait that late to start since I do so much. So yes, I am the nutty person with the Christmas decorations up already. :thumbsup2

I am so ready. Thus far the weather is looking great! I just need to start thinking of what to pack. Dh and ods did go get haircuts already so that is one thing down. I need to cut yds hair myself and I really wanted to get to the dentist to get a cavity filled before we leave. I also want to get out and pick up a few tops for the trip for myself. ;) Lastly, I need to get to the school for ods and talk to them about him being out.

I am getting crazy nervous about doing 3 resorts this trip. EEK! We have never done more than one before and now doing 3 is totally freaking me out. :rotfl:

We leave Tuesday with park days being Wed-Saturday. This was a very last minute trip. We will have 4 day park hoppers. Which parks would you do on which day for lowest crowds? Or for those who are going next week what is your schedule?

Well November friends, it's been a pleasure getting to know you all and counting down together! :grouphug::goodvibes

The laundry is done. The house is clean. The dishwasher is running one last time. All but a few little last minute things are packed.

I am listening to my Aerosmith CD and wondering what song will be playing on my first RNRC ride this trip!!! :rockband:

The kids will be home in just a little bit and we will try to cram a week's worth of school work into an evening. :faint:

It has been one long countdown and I'm so glad it's finally here!!! :cool1: Hopefully I will come back with lots of cool stories and wonderful pictures to share with you all.
Maybe I'll even get to meet some of you this week! :wizard:

Please keep us in your prayers for safe travels. It's supposed to snow here tonight and tomorrow, so I hope we don't get into anything too bad on the way to the airport.

Have a great week! :goodvibes
Thanks for all your hard work on this thread!! I know you're having a great time:love: God Bless:flower3:

I am the same way! We leave the day after Thanksgiving and wont get back until the first weekend in Dec. I like to have my tree up the weekend of Thanksgiving so I will already be two weekends behind. Limited decorations this year, but I have out just about everything I want. We also finished our Christmas shopping due to gifts needing to be mailed out. Now all thats left is to pack and enjoy.

Packed the kids a turtleneck each just in case too. Also packed hand warmers because DS will not wear gloves. Now what's wrong with this picture? Im packing turtlenecks and handwarmers for FLORIDA!?!?:scared:

All day my DD8 (and who am I kidding, me too) have been singing "It's The Final Countdown!!!!"

10 Days, tomorrow is single digits!!!

We adopted 2 baby kittens today. We can't get them till December 1 so it works well, not having to find anyone to watch them while we are gone. I will need to find a Disney food bowl when we are down there. :)

12 More days!!!
We are starting to get really excited. I told someone today that we are leaving a week from Friday, and it really brought home to me how close we are. All of DD's customs and the tees and leggings to go under are packed. I am waiting on my made to match bows to get here, and then everything will be set for her. I have started packing for DH and I. I am off Thursday and DD is in school so I will be doing a lot then.

We are only 9 Days out. I can't believe we are in the single digits.

I just realized I had miss read the Food Allergy information. I thought I was supposed to fax the forms in within 2 weeks and was going to send them in tomorrow. Getting it all ready I just realized I was supposed to do it at least two weeks before our arrival. Now I have to call in tomorrow and hope there isn't a problem.
