Wow those are some amazing MK shots! Thanks for sharing!

You have all got me thinking about October and MNSSHP! We were there once in October, but it was our very first trip and we paid very little attention to the Halloween decorations. Plus it was HOT and CROWDED, so we never considered October again.

Jessica -- I hope you are feeling better very soon.

Hmmm, Epcot pictures are hard...my favorites are because of the memories, pics themselves are just so-so. (Twoboysmygirl--that landscape of Italy/America/purple flowers is AMAZING!!)

yay Shelly!!!! You did have an awful long start!!!! I haven't had time to post any pics....about the center of Epcot...it used to be...I need to read up on that...I think in the last few years, it is no longer the exact center, but when they put it there it was.....

Hi all, just wanted to pop in. I love all the pictures and Halloween at MK looks amazing!!! I have a feeling that next Halloween we could very well be there...DD would love love love it! Hmmmmm...how does the bounce back offer work? Could we book immediately after our Nov. trip for Oct. 2011 or do we need to go back sooner. Anyone know?

I'll try to find some Epcot pictures, but it's been totally nuts in my house lately...so no promises.

Here's another question, is anyone planning on doing any holiday shopping during their trip? Is anyone planning on getting all their holiday shopping done BEFORE their trip? I would hate to come home all relaxed and happy and immediately throw myself into holiday shopping, which can really be stressful for me...

Momof2Disneyboys - I am getting ready to greet that 150 milestone, too. We started counting around 375, and the time has flown by. It was magical just to see the 5 months turn into 4 on my countdown banner.

With summer on the horizon, I feel our trip is just around the corner. We've started a planning board, with Park Icons and Post-It strips representing all the things when hope to do. Some rainy day or evening, we'll go over it all together and builda schedule based on the park hours and UG recommendations. Of course, nothing is carved in stone except for Day 1, and I have no doubt we'll stray from the plan as soon as Day 2. Doesn't matter, it is all about the anticipation.

My MIL has and uses that same ice bucket that she got as a wedding gift 43 years ago! I have always loved it, I love penguins, and I found on at a yard sale 4yrs ago for $2!!! I was so happy, I use it all the time! Way to funny, I will have to go to the 50's Prime Time and see it.

I was also wondering if you made the mickey tie dyed shirts? I saw instructions on how to do it but wondered how hard it really was.

Thank you!! I have a DSLR, it's a Nikon D40, I had only had it for about 6 months when we took the trip and rented a lens b/c the kit lenses I had weren't as good. I was pretty happy with the shots I got, especially since I had only been shooting for half a year!

Yes, we made the tie dyes, in fact, we are making more tomorrow for this upcoming trip! It is not what I would call hard, but it is time consuming with many steps. If you take it slow and follow the directions, they come out amazing. We have quite a few mickey head shirts now from our past 2 trips, they get so much attention in the parks too, it's fun! The stitching of the mickey head with floss is the harest part and you have to tie it very tight to make sure the dye doesn't seep. Then we follow dharma trading company instructions to tie dye, including soaking in soda ash, etc. and they come out amazing! Lots of work, but worth it!

Yes, it has been a long countdown. I got my PIN shortly after we got back last November. It was good for most of 2010, but it expired in mid Dec. 2009. So I had to book by then to use it. Never been booked this far out before!!

Wow you have had a long countdown too!

I think time will go by quickly now that summer is nearly here too. Summer always goes fast, then it will be back to school, school activities, fall sports for the kids, I will be back to work, DS8's birthday, Halloween, etc. Lots going on, which means time will fly!
