Hi guys!! Haven't been on here for over a week. My little Belle has had a fever for 8 days..was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday and is now at Childrens Hospital of Philadlephia admitted for IV antibiotics...I am so worried about her. She is still spiking a fever on the antibiotcs...just wanted to say hi and read some fun stuff about disney

Sending some prayers that your DD gets better soon.

Some pages back, someone asked about who's going to MVMCP and if tickets had been purchased. We are going on Nov. 11 and yes, we have our tickets.

Even though I still haven't purchased them yet... we will see you there


What's the coolest thing that ever happened to you at WDW? Could be a bit of pixie magic, a special memory, or even just a funny thing.

One magical thought that comes to mind is when my DD was 3 and she visited MK for the first time. When she saw all the princesses on stage she was so excited to see them.

When I was younger--6 years old--my mother took my brother and I to MK for the first time. During the parade Cinderella passed by...and I waved to her and blew a kiss. She looked right at me and blew a kiss back!! I felt like the most special little princess!!!

To this day I think that is why I love Disney so much! What a magical place!

Also having really bad coughing which is flaring her asthma bad..she is getting 8 puffs of albuterol..for anyone who knows asthma, you know that is alot. I am so scared that there is something else going on...

I hope your lil girl had a good night and the new antiboiotics are working. That does seem like a lot of albuterol, I have asthma and I am allowed 1 or 2 puffs up to 4x a day. My heart goes out to you but you need to be strong and think positive. I know when I had pnuemonia about 5 years ago the antibotics they gave me intervenosly had an adverse effect on me and I had severe diarrhea, running a fever for days, I do hope it does not do that to your lil girl to. Will be thinking of you and praying. Hope you were able to get some rest last night, you will need to be there when she comes home.

Nov 15-22nd.

I was able to make some ADR's already. I'm not wasting anytime. This is what I've got so far:

I've never gone to one of the special events at Disney.. Can anyone give me any pointers regarding the Christmas Party?

Oh Andrea that is not the news I was hoping to hear. That is a lot of Albuterol. I can't believe nothing is helping. Sending prayers your way right now.

Thanks everyone...I did sleep last night and so did Belle..but woke up to a 103 fever. I spoke to the doc this morning and they said that this is not that atypical for pneumonia and that she could still have a fever today. They said they will do further testing if there is no improvement by tomorrow morning. Her lung exam is really good but she still has that horrible cough. The extra albuterol is definitely helping. Thanks fo the prayers...keep em coming.

As for the coolest thing to ever happen to us at disney....our daughter Belle was I guess 4 at the time and we went to Cinderella's royal table for breakfast on our last day, she was dressed as Cinderella. We walk out of breakfast and the park is pretty busy..we wanted to ride a few more things before we left..when a cast memeber walked up to her and made a big deal about her looking like Cinderella and she asked her if she'd like to ride Dumbo..of course she said yes..she had us go in through the exit with no wait at all (the ride time was 45 minutes)...that made her feel like a real princess.

Speaking of some pixie dust. Since I am going to be there in a few weeks would anyone like me to send their little ones a post card from the mouse? a can't wait to see you in November card? Now I don't want to do 100 of them So the 1st 10 people who pm me get one!

So I still have 5 months and 2 days till my trip but just realized something... I have 8:30am ADR at Kona and I'll be at POP and MK doesn't open till 9am that day.

I know the answer will be yes, but will buses be running to MK from POP by 8am so we can go there then take the Monorail to Poly and still make our reservation? Or am I better off seeing if I can get a 9am reservation?

Like I said I have time but it's my little WDW freak-out of the week . I feel I'll have more in the up coming months (never been in charge of the trip before)

Yes, absolutely - the MK buses will start running by 7:00am. You can take the MK bus and then monorail to the Poly. If you get lucky and are the only ones on the bus your driver may offer to take you straight to the Poly!

Thanks! I knew the answer was I'd be okay but still just wanted to be reassured. I just hope I don't become a wreck by the time the trip happens. Being the veteran on the trip and the one who came up with the idea for "Roommies Attack WDW" I get to do all the planning, reservation making, surprise planning (maybe? Still debating on something for our night there)...

Andrea . . . I just caught up and read about your DD. I hope she is better soon! I use Abuterol too and was up jittering for an hour last night after 2 puffs, 8 sounds like so much. Another prayer has been said!!!
