Hope it's not too late to join this thread! First trip back to the World since 2005. We are so excited. Will be there 11/20-11/27. It will be my DH, myself, our DD who will be 14 and our DS who will be 11 at the time of the trip. This will be the first time that we will be traveling with extended family. My 2 older sisters and a brother in law will be with us. First time my sisters have been to Disney in over 25 years. My BIL has never been. We will be staying at POP.

This will be the first time I have been to Disney during the holidays. Can't wait.

And our favorite is ~ CBR!! (So far! We're still working on trying them all )

Hi I'm also the mother of 2 boys who love Disney, but mine are a little older 15 and 11. How time flys!!!
We have stayed at 4 resorts.

1.Polynesian(just me when I was alot younger)
2.Animal Kingdom Lodge
3.Old Key West
4.Animal Kingdom Villas Kidani

As you can guess AK resorts are our favorite(so far). Plan on staying at many more too. Have a Disney Happy Day.

Wilderness Lodge
Villas @ Wilderness Lodge
Boardwalk Inn Villa

I think Wilderness Lodge/Villa is my favorite, but I would love to go back to Poly to see if I'd enjoy it as much as an adult as I did for a kid...

Wish I could be at Wilderness Lodge now...

We are staying at CBR in June and at the Poly in November. I am sure Poly will be my favorite!!

Our first stay in the parks was at ASM and that's when we purchased DVC. We have been to BWV 4 times and once at WLV. WLV was cool, but we like being in the middle of it all at BWV best!

BWV two times and we love it!!!! We have so much fun watching the jugglers, magic acts and great entertainment that goes on at night.

Shades of Green
Wilderness Lodge

I haven't stayed at the CR or Poly in since the mid 90s. So I am not sure my opinion on them stands. But, the CR has always been my favorite of the 2. I did not like the Poly. Loved the WL Resort, hated the staff. And we LOVE Shades of Green. If they only offered the DDP, we probably wouldn't stay anywhere else. We like space and the rooms there are HUGE!

Have only stayed at 2 - Caribbean Beach Resort and Pop Century. Pop is our favorite

Hoping to venture out a little bit and stay at a different resort next trip!

Well, we have been 5 times and stayed at POR all 5 times so obviously we love it there.

I am SOOO excited to be staying at the Boardwalk this trip though as I love it there. We always go over there and just enjoy the area and the atmosphere so it is about time we stay there. I also love the atmosphere of the Poly but have not yet stayed there either.

We arrive on Friday the 5th and here are my ADR's I am so excited!

Glad you were able to get all the ressies you wanted...still tweeking with ours changed ours yesterday after talking with DH, now we are doing the very merry dinner at liberty inn on the night of MVMCP ( I think) . and instead of San Angels , he wants to do Le Cellier , Every year we have been to Disney we remark about eating at San Angel I thought ok this is the year, but I guess maybe not . DS said he wants to go to Le Cellier so I guess I will make that one for 4, but they are waiting on HDDR ressies since they are moving this month and don't have the x-tra $$$, I think they will still be able to go , we got cat 1 for last show last March during spring break and had front row and we bought only a month out.

I should look over my list today maybe and make sure I am all set to go on wed to make my ADR's

Whoo Hoo!! Woke up at 4:45 on Mother's Day to make sure we got an ADR for CRT and we got it for 8:15am so we could be there before the crowds (hopefully to get some good pictures with nobody on Main Street!!! Sooooo tired now, but it will be worth it when I see their little faces Friday, November 5th!!!!

Thursday is my ADR day. I have to leave the house at 7am for a meeting, so I'll be up early, dressed & ready to go in order to get online at 6am. (I don't think the world should start before 10am.) Little nervous about Le Cellier, so I've figured out 4 times it can fit into our schedule.

I just added Le Cellier too! I think we may want to go there instead of San Angel.. so I have Le Cellier at 5:20 on the Mon at Epcot too.. will probably drop San Angel..

We have never eaten at Le Cellier either so we shall see, I have heard people rave about it and then some so so reviews

On a side note, when I rec'd my tickets for MVMCP a few days ago, the letter mentioned a "Very Merry Dinner" at Liberty Tree Inn, we were planning on eating at the resort then heading over to MK for the Party but I think we now decided on dinner at the Liberty Tree Inn, I called the WDW_DINE # to see when you could book and the CM I spoke with said that too is 180 days out and asked me when I was going to the MVMCP then told me I could book on May 12th, I did not tell her I was already planning on calling that day, but she was helpful as she could be.
