Shop :rotfl2:Never too early to start :rotfl: Lots of time to find good bargains on clothes....I just bought 5 T shirts for myself today from the Disney Outlet and last week picked up a tinkerbell zippered Jkt for the trip, they have some great prices , lots of boys t-shirts too and you can take off an additional 15% with the code OUTLET15

 Aw yes, shopping!! :rotfl:

I have also started shopping. I like for my two boys (11 and 6) to having matching shirts (not sure how much longer my older one will allow this, but until he puts his foot down...). I do it mostly for the photos, I make a scrapbook and the last few trips i've done a disney photo book, and they always look so good in matching shirts. I love to take pictures in Disney, I usually take about 300 on a week long trip. The kids actually know all the usual spots and stop and pose without being asked.
Anyway, I got some really cute shirts at the Disney store for 4.99. And right now they have adult shirts online for $8.50- a couple of really cute ones I might like for myself.
My favorite Disney song is "When you wish upon a star"

My boys used to love to wear matching shirts. Now they just put up with it! :rotfl:

DS11 is to the point where he doesn't want anymore Disney shirts. . . He's too cool I guess. :sad2: His "coolness" doesn't stop him from wanting to go to WDW though.:lmao:

Does anyone know if Remy is still at Les Chefs de France??? I thought I'd see if you knew before I headed over to the restaurant board. I'm a tad intimidated about posting there.

My ADR day is tomorrow! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I don't know about the Remy thing. . . :confused3

Good luck on the ADR's. :goodvibes Are you calling or doing them online? I love the online system! Let us know what you get!!

Originally we were going to go Nov 28th to Dec 5th staying at POR, then I checked flights and unless we left Dec 1st or later back in Feb Delta was going for over $1000 pp, then I read about POP Warner so changed to 2nd week of Nov since Jersey Week was the first but before I could book I rec'd a % off pin so we decided definately on Nov and AKL.
From everything I have read the park are not too bad during the day with the POP Warner kids you just do not want to be staying at the value resorts where they are or at the overflow moderate usually POR it seems.
I have not checked recently but I am pretty sure air fare will stay high and only go up as it gets closer to the Holiday travel time. I would say buy air as soon as possible I think you should be ok most boards on here say the first couple of weeks in Dec are good crowd wise and you will have all the Christmas Activities going on for sure, whereas I was on pins and needes waiting to hear the MVMCP dates and now have my fingers crossed that they start OL while I am there. Those are the two main things I wanted to do if I went in Dec instead of Nov.
Changeing now it might be hard for you to get the resort or catagory of room you already have booked

I'm going to call tomorrow morning and see if I can use my pin to switch to the 2nd week in Nov. If not, I'll keep what I already have. We always fly Continental but their fares for the week after T'giving are wayyyy up, Jet Blue for the week before T'giving are $50 per person less, unless things change quickly, we're flying JB this trip.

Good luck on the ADR's. :goodvibes Are you calling or doing them online? I love the online system! Let us know what you get!!

I think I'm going to do them online...I messed around with the system and I think it will be pretty easy. Hopefully. :rolleyes1

What about the Fantasmic package? Do I have to call to do that one or is that online, too?

Oh, and my dates are now November 3 - 14. Longer is always better, right??? :goodvibes

Tink!!! I really should change my avatar. :rolleyes1

Well, I'll go with the only two on my iPod..."When You Wish Upon A Star" and "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes".

Are those the same ones you said, DisneyMommy3?

Yes, we are twins! And longer is definitely better!!!
Thanks for your help. I don't know if Pop Warner peeps are going to be at POR again this year or not, but the dates are just too close for comfort. I'm calling tomorrow to switch to the week before Thanksgiving and hopefully, I'll be able to use my 35% room pin for the new ressie, if not I guess I'll have to stick with the week after.

Not sure what resort..they can shuffle around a little! Usually mod or value...and it's the first full week of Dec.....so, yeah...you should change your week and go when I am there!! ha!!!!!

good grief women!! you guys talk alot!! :lmao: its hard to catch up!!

Just added dining to our trip.. I wasn't going to because we usually don't like to do sit down meals every day, but I decided I wanted to eat at Cinderellas castle. yes, with 2 boys.. they will deal with IT!!! :rotfl: and want to try a signature dining.. so that will take 4 TS credits right there.. I can make my ADR's on Sunday! woohoo!!!

And LOVE that my ticker is under 6 months!! :cool1:

your boys will like it! My boys do...the food anyway..and the inside is really cool!! My hubby asks every time before ADR day "so,...are you gonna get us in the Castle again?" then I say "Why, you want to eat there again?" Then he smiles real big and nods his head like a kid!! It's sooo funny! My older son doesn't like it at all anymore...he wasn't too happy with what he ordered last year......but my middle one looooooves it!!

I made , yes I said made both my DS go to Cindy's Castle and also took pics of them with Cinderella, one was 10 and the other 20 at the time. Hey I wanted to go there and I just couldn't go alone :rotfl2:
We still laugh about DH asking for a beer with his meal and the male server stated quite frankly to DH "There is no beer in the Magic Kingdom" I think if my DH had false teeth they would have went flying across the room the way his mouth fell open with surprise...We were Disney Virgins and had no idea about the no alcohol policy in MK :lmao:

Hi everyone! I hadn't been on for a few days, but I read a few pages last night and then a couple more tonight and now I'm caught up.

Great idea about Questions of the Day! Here are my answers for the last few days:

1. What is your favorite Disney Park?
> Epcot

2. What is your favorite Disney Character?
> TIGGER! (He's bouncy-trouncy-bouncy-trouncy-fun-fun-fun-fun-fun for goodness sake!)

3. What is your favorite Disney Song?
> "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" My dad and I danced to that at my wedding and I still can't sing the whole song without choking up :lovestruc

Tomorrow my ticker will be exactly 6 months away from our return to the Boardwalk! And my ADR date is next Tuesday, which is also DH's birthday.

Okay, I have a confession to make. My DH and I just spent the last 15 minutes trying to remember if we ever noticed that MK does not serve alcohol! We were pretty sure we would have noticed if they didn't serve alcohol as we have been going to WDW for 15 years and, quite frankly, we enjoy our adult beverages! :drinking1 However, after a quick google, we confirmed that there is no alcohol at MK! Well, I learned something new today! It makes sense, though, since its geared towards the kids and we obviously didn't miss the drinks in all our time spent there.

You have to call for the Fantasmic package :)

FAVORITE SONG:

It's a Small World! Ha Ha Ha! No not really, is that anyone's fav?

Hmmm...
These are hard questions to narrow down to one answer! I'll go with Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah. In fact, I'll now be singing it for the rest of the day
"...Mr. Bluebird's on my shoulder, it's the truth! It's act'ull! Everything is satifact'ull!"

I love that song too! I still have my little record player from childhood and my Disney records..i bet that one might be worth something since we can't buy the movie. Which I think is totally ridiculous! It is a very sweet movie and I think you can find controversy in anything if you are looking for it! Well..moving off my soapbox and thinking about that sweet song for the rest of the day too!!! LOL

How about this one?

What is your favorite disney ride?

Hmmm....wow...tooooo hard! Toy Story for DHS, Soarin' for Epcot, AK-nada, MK.....all of them? Well, by lands:PoTC, HM, Peter Pan,and that's it...ha!!!! If I really could only go to MK and ride just one....I would have to toss a coin...I really don't think I could do it!! The MK is my favorite park, and all the rides are wonderful!!!! Boy, I have had a hard time with every one of these, even my own question! But, that of course is why they are the best vacation for families every year...so many favs and experiences!!!! (They should put me on their commercials!!LOL)

Star Tours, but I think I saw it will be closed while I am there this time :sad1:

How about this one?

What is your favorite disney ride?

HS - TSM.. but haven't rode RNRC either.. this time for sure!

I can make my ADR's in TWO DAYS!! WAAAHOOOO!!! I think I have a good trip planned too.. I'm excited!:banana:
