(I posted this in anoter thread but wanted more opinions.) Okay so I need some help picking a dinner (table service) for my family at Epcot. I was thinking of either Teppan Edo or Tutto Italia (have not been to either) but I am open to other suggestions. The only place we have eaten as far as table service at Epcot is Le Cellier and Coral Reef. I plan on booking LeCellier again but need one more.

Haven't had Coral Reef yet, or Teppan Edo (have a place kinda like it at home, so we dont want to do anything close on vacation!) Haven't had Tutto Italia either--checked the menu and just not sure if my kids would like it! We too loved Le Cellier!! If you can't get T.E., have you considered Nine Dragons in China...we love that place! Biergarten (Germany) is pretty good too--buffet style and you sit at long picnic type tables with other people. They play live (an Oompah band) and it's just really fun...the first 2 times my kids loved the food..last time not so much!! Desserts are good:Authentic Flourentine cookies on the dessert bar!!!! I think about them often!! Ha!
We also like the Rose and Crown..it's one that gets mixed reviews, but we have never had bad service or yucky food..the bread and soup is wonderful! Fish and chips are a nice break from "disney" food! totally different than other restaurants.
In the Land is the Garden Grill...they bring you food family style (big plates with veggies,fish, or turkey, whatever, and as many plates as you keep asking for of any particular item)...also, it is round and it's a rotating place!!! it's sooooo cool...and Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale are there for autographs..for me it's always a must do..my kids love it and really eat their fill...You definitely need an ADR, but you should not have a problem getting in. Also, they have a kidcot station there where you wait! Ok, well, that's just some of the places that my kids like! I have one that is reeeeaaallly pickier than the other 2....but will eat whatever if desperate

A week or so ago DH says to me, "where are we staying when we go to Disney"? I preceded to tell him for about the hundredth time.
Then today he says "when are we going to Disney"?
I really would not mind so much but I have been talking about this trip since back the end of January when we decided when to go and where to stay.....anyone else feel like no one is listening to them sometimes?

My DH knows we are staying at BLT but keeps asking "when are we going?" or "when will we be on the Wonder and when will we be at WDW?" I keep trying to talk about plans or show him pictures and he says he wants to be SURPRISED! Last time I let him be in charge of food because he said I was trying to overplan because I wanted to order groceries since we had a kitchen but he didn't want leftover food. He went every morning for doughnuts and muffins and coffee, I think he spent way more doing that and that was not the energy food we needed for all that walking. His idea of lunch was popcorn, pretzels and ice cream at the parks. The kids loved him for it, but again not giving us the energy we needed. I'm all for saving $ but the kids got really cranky. So this time we have a rental car and I'm stopping for breakfast food and some things for light suppers. I would like to do lunch at the parks, but do I need ADRs for lunch?? I have never done ADRs, our last trip was a grand gathering and we just showed up where we were told. My DH doesn't want to eat out for supper, and with 5 of us it adds up fast. So I thought to try for lunch, but if not maybe a counter service. Any ideas?

Wow, it looks like a lot of people will be there from November 6-13, the time I'm planning on going Hope it won't be too crowded this year; when I went in '08 during the same date range the crowds were great!

Hi, everyone! We are going Nov 2-9 and staying at POR. Its me, DH, DS (8), DD (6), and my mom. We are surprising the kids this time and it is very hard to keep it a secret. We get to book our ADR's Thursday morning. Also, hoping they extend Free dining like last year.

May 11, is my ADR date. I'm pretty much settled on what I'm going to go for:

Nov 7 - partial day, Epcot - Akershus dinner
Nov 8 - DHS - Play n Dine lunch
Nov 9 - birthday! MK - CRT lunch (may add a monorail resort dinner since the parks close so early)
Nov 10 - Epcot, no TS
Nov 11 - MK + MVMCP, LTT lunch
Nov 12 - AK - Donald's Safari Break
Nov 13 - partial day, undecided

Booked with no discounts, but fingers crossed they extend free dining!

I would like to do lunch at the parks, but do I need ADRs for lunch??

I would make lunch ADR's. . . especially if you are going anywhere popular. Often times the more popular places get booked up for supper and people are forced to book it for lunch if they want to be able to eat there. Then the lunch ADR's get booked!

The crowds were very low this week last year. That's why we picked it again for this year!

One week until my ADR's!!!

me too!! woohoo.. well actually 6 days! I can make mine on Monday!

OK, my ADR date is next Tuesday, but here's my itinerary so far.. I am certainly open to suggestions!

Nov 7-13 All Star Movies resort with Deluxe Dining (although hoping free dining is extended to our stay and if so I'll be upgrading to CBR )

So..... Nov 7th arrive in the evening, no plans really, if early enough for dinner we may go to DTD and eat at T Rex OOP.

Monday Nov 8th Animal Kingdom
Breakfast: Donalds Safari Breakfast
Lunch: counter service
Dinner: Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge

Tuesday Nov 9th EPCOT
Breakfast: Ohana at the Poly with Lilo and Stitch
Lunch: snack credits at F&W booths
Dinner: Gardn Grill with Chip and Dale

Wednesday Nov 10th Magic Kingdom
Breakfast: Crystal Palace in MK
Lunch: counter service

I can not believe next Wednesday is my ADR day....it seemed like it was so far away and now it is almost here and I am at my wits end trying to get input from my traveling companions ( DH,DS,Ddil ) Spoke with DS last night but he does not want to commit without wifes ok, with her work schedule and school(she is going for her RN) can't pin her down and on top of that they are moving end of this month. We booked a 1 bdrm and DS and wife keep saying they will cook , problem is I enjoy eating out while on vacation,No DP so all meals are OOP. Anyway heres what I have so far, it is what it is

That is such a hard question for me since it all depends on my mood, wether I am in my kid or Adult mode but based on where I spend the most time I guess I would have to pick Epcot-WS

So glad to hear this! It was actually a trip report, (I don't remember the name), that got me interested in this week. I was originally planning for first or second week of December to get value prices, but I was so worried the kids wouldn't get to swim. (Or more likely would insist on swimming no matter what the temp and I'd have to go in there with them. )

Hopefully we won't add to the crowding too much, my kids are such ride wimps we'll just be in the way of those wanting to ride Carousel of Progress multiple times...
