First time we're going during the holiday season - we're usually Sept people but the kids are getting too old to take out of school. We're very excited to see all the lights and resorts decked out.:cool1:

:welcome: Sounds like a fun trip you have planned!! We are very excited about staying in the Epcot area (BWI) this time too and being able to stroll back to the room from the park. :cloud9:[/QUOTE]

You just don't realize what a luxury that is till you stay there and do it!! I loooove that part of my vacation!!! Walking to MK from the CR was great too...but it seems better at Epcot for some reason!! I am blown away by how many people have said they are only waiting 10-30 minutes for a bus!!!! If the ME is that different..I can just imagine the difference in the parks!!! This is sounding better all the time!!!

I am so looking forward to staying so close to Epcot! :goodvibes

Yes, we barely had a wait at all in November at ME. And it was on a Saturday afternoon!

193 days for us. Counting down ... dreaming ... planning ... I LOVE going to Disney. :)

We're driving down (we live about 7 hours out), and use the ride as part of our trip. :) The anticipation is as much fun as the trip sometimes. My dd (will be 5 on the trip) hasn't been to all 4 parks since she was 14 months old and is greatly *anticipating* everything. What fun we'll have. :) :)

Just booked a trip for October 30 - November 6 with a pin code that came as a surprise in the email. It will be DH, DS (7) and DD (4) who will turn five while we are there. A fun birthday trip for all of us. We are staying at Beach Club, which we have never done and really appeals to us. We love Epcot at night and have visions of wondering the World Showcase with kids feeling drowsy and walking home. May cut off one night and head to Universal as we've never been there. Excited to join the fun of anticipating this trip. It will be our 4th with the kids, but seems to be just as exciting each time.

Kim

Kim - We're neighbors! I'm in Foxboro! Too bad our trip dates don't overlap, as we're staying at BWV and we would be neighbors at WDW, too

Enjoy the planning and welcome to the crew!

From allears.net -----DID NOT SEE ON THE DISNEY SITE!!! Not sure how correct the information is below. I did not see anything on the WDW site. Same info was also on mousesavers.com

So, if all of the MVMCP info above is correct, it means PLAN 1 (of 3) will be implemented! :cheer2:

Yes, my spreadsheets have spreadsheets

Ha!!!!:rotfl2: I love it!!! You may have to share those you know!!!!;)

Really....I never make spreadsheets....can you believe it!! I just write out my park days on paper with columns and keep it simple....ADRs and conf #s are on the bottom....I just can't seem to find a spreadsheet that works for me....how do ya'll do yours?

When you are on the calendar just click on each individual date and it will list Fantasmic if it is showing that night. . . And keep checking as your trip gets closer, they have been known to add showings as it gets closer!

I hope you are able to move your trip up!! :wizard: Be sure to let us know!

Good news! All my mom has to do is check with her boss to see if she can get that time off, and we can finalize the dates! We should know for sure some time in June.:cool1:

I keep mine as simple as possible. Starts out with more info, but I weed things out as time goes on. I ask DH & DS for their wish lists - ADR, MVMCP, Jedi Training, Wishes, Illuminations, Pirate Adventure, etc... Combind their lists with mine & start plugging in which things are in which parks & which parks have EMH to see what makes sense. Then I wait and wait and wait for the MVMCP schedule :) Once that is out, I do my happy dance :cool1: and start shrinking my spreadsheet.

In the end, it will have columns for day, park of the day, ADR location, time & confirmation # and small space for any notes - b-day cake ordered, MVMCP confirmation #, wear socks & shoes for Pirate Adventure, etc...

It all fits on a small piece of paper that is sized to fit in the outside pocket of my bag. I also laminate, to be safe.

My friend had one that was a full page for each day with specific times for certain rides and menu items already selected at each restaurant for each person. That scared me :scared1:

For sure!! I think I am a major planner, till I hear things like this!!! I usually work all mine on paper...just not on the computer....then when I get my ADR conf. #s from Disney, I print it on Disney paper, and write my park stuff on that paper....then I just stick it in my backpack for that day....we don't plan what time to ride each ride...I know what we need to knock out first or get FPs for...then the meal times....other than that we are good....I used to do the commando thing...not anymore....stresses me too bad! I wind up with a headache and what good is that on vacation!!!

You can put me down for the POP...

We're officially in planning mode and in talks with a lovely travel agent (who got us a great deal right in our price range! :woohoo:) and once I find out some information about our return flight we'll be putting out deposit down.

Looks like I can plan a Disney Vacation on my own. I've been there 5 times and never planned one of them, so this is a new experience for me!

I had that same issue, but because I was clicking on the Park Hours link at the bottom of the website.

Go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/ , select the park you want to go to, then select Calendar. You can then choose November 2010 and it will give you the park hours.

Please add us to the list!

Me, DH and our two boys 9 and 5 at VWL Nov 6-13!

I'm super excited! I was hoping for BLT or BCV, but they weren't available with my PIN. I'm thrilled to finally be BOOKED, no more obsessing, no more spreadsheets with a million tabs for every possible split stay discount scenario :) We booked with AirTran Monday and I'm pretty nervous about that. It seemed like the least of three evils from our airport. Just hoping for the best.

I was so happy to find this thread. When we got the PIN and booked I was so giddy I wanted to practically stop traffic so I could tell someone. All my "real life" people just kind of shrug or say "again? Didn't you go already?" It's so nice that there are other people who get it!
