A cat has more chance of being hurt from falling off a 3 storey building, then falling off a 10 storey building. It's because they reach their terminal velocity before 7 stories, then they stretch out their limbs and "glide" down to safety, much like a flying squirrel. It means that as long a a building is higher then 7 storeys, a cat can survive falling from a building. xD

DISCLAMIER! Please don't try to test this theory out, because it would count as animal cruelty. The data gained to find this out was from reports of cats that fell out of windows by accident, not on purpose.
