The new "New Moms" thread!

Just thought I would share Brady's Christmas pics we used for our Christmas cards! I actually brought him to The Picture People this past Thursday, but none of them came out that great and I just couldn't let myself spend $35/set of 25 cards (and I usually send out about 70!) for just an ok picture. When we got home, I put him in front of the tree and got some cute ones and made my own on Snapfish!! Here are a few of them...

LOVE IT! :thumbsup2

Denise- glad you guys had a great time with Mo!! I love the pic of him in the backseat with the new hat on. :)

Kelly- Brady looks adorable!

Ash- This is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, but some years it's hard to be in the spirit when you're stressed and worried about stuff. I know- I have been there. But, I kind of live the "fake it til you make it" philosophy. I'm glad you got out the tree. Decorate your house. Bake some cookies. Send out cards. Drink hot cocoa and watch Christmas movies. Show Ellery the true meaning of Christmas. :)

Denise - looks like everyone had a great time at the zoo! :cool1:

Kelly - I will definitely take tons of pics! :thumbsup2 We are staying at CSR and leaving Wednesday, coming back the following Wednesday. I use the butt paste for Alex too, seems to work best, but that center is still looking pimply, so I'm going to try to sneak him into the ped tomorrow. Poor little guy still randomly says, "butt" and grabs his diaper throughout the day. :sad2: Oh, and nice pics in front of the tree - I like the one where Brady looks like he is yelling.

Ash - I agree with Becky, do some of the happiest holiday things you can think of to help get you in the spirit, like she suggested, take Ellery to see Santa, things like that! :goodvibes

I haven't done my cards yet either, I'm hoping for some good pics while we are in Disney, then planning to run to Walgreens or Walmart when we get back on the 18th and try to get them in the mail on time!

I really should get on the card thing... I am usually so good about it!

Happy Belated 1st Birthday, Ellery and Mo. :cake:

Hubby and I had a blast in Maui, it was so beautiful!!

Well...I had my ultrasound today and it turns out, I'm having boy #3. I'm in so much trouble!!

Kelly, Great pics!!

Ash, I am feeling the same way about Christmas. I usually LOVE it, but it has been a rough year, so it's hard to get into it.
I have been down lately, because it's hard being away from my family.

TiggerStac, CONGRATS!!! Three boys; you are a brave woman!

Hi Guys

Quick post...

Remember a couple of months ago I posted that I argued a case before the Supreme Court of my state (the highest court in the land)...well...the case was decided today...

I WON!!!!

I am so excited!!

This is a huge case and a big personal victory for me -- it sure increases my standing in the legal community!

Yeah!

-Nicole

TiggerStac - Congratulations!!!! How exciting!!! Yes, you will have your hands full, but they will be so cute together!! :goodvibes

Nicole - That is FANTASTIC!!! Nic job!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the nice words about Brady's pics ladies! :goodvibes We are off this Saturday to have an entire family picture (with my brothers as well) to give my parents for Christmas. Hopefully we can get at least one good one with everyone smiling!

Hi Ladies...long time no post :flower3:

I'm so glad to see all your little ones are growing like weeds :goodvibes

Just wanted to stop by and wish everyone Merry Christmas :santa: and hope the New Year brings all that you hope and more!!! :grouphug:

Chase is 9 & 1/2 months and doing well. He is crawling, pulling up to stand and has one little snaggle tooth on the bottom.

I hope to be able to stop by more often and check in. So until then....:upsidedow

Okay, so don't faint ladies!! Geez, I didn't realize how long I've been absent from these boards!!!! Crazy. Life's been busy here with an almost 11 month old! But to be honest, I've found Facebook, which has been sucking the time right out of me! lol I look forward to catching back up. I'll post some new pictures of Amanda Joy soon ;)

Holly

I thought maybe I killed the thread :sad2:

Hi Denise-I can't believe how big Mo is...what a cutie!!!

Holly-I know what you mean about being busy...can't wait to see updated pics of Amanda :goodvibes

happy belated bday Mo and Ellery!

Becky- what cute pics of Vaylie- the family one is cute too- you guys look great!

Nic- ouch on the tooth for Izzy- poor thing~!

Meredith- the twins look so cute! on the naps- day care cut him down to one when he moved to the 12 month-18 month class. he actually started doing one nap at 11 months. it is after lunch- usually 12:15-2:15. His schedule is pretty much this now at almost 14 months:

7am- awake- we have to wake him up! all the in-between time is schedule montesorri stuff- reading, puzzles, playtime etc.
7:30am- breakfast snack and water
8am- off to day care
8:30am- they feed him some real breakfast and milk
11:30am- lunch
12:15-2:15- nap
3pm- snack and milk
5:30pm- i pick him up
6pm- dinner and juice
7:30pm- bottle (only one of the day- he uses cups) and bath every other night
8pm-8:30pm- bedtime

Pollito- so jealous! i hope you guys have a great time at CSR!

TiggerStac- congrats on the boy!:wizard:

kelly- Brady's pics are always so cute- i just love reading his blog and seeing him grow!!! You always have the greatest little outfits for him too. ;)

nothing new here- just working a TON! super busy. trying to figure out my holiday time off. seems the company is closed the 25-26 and 1-2. I might take off the 24 and 31st too so i have two 5 day weekends in a row! we will see. day care is closed those days anyhow, so i have to bring him with me to work or take off (or work from home). I have a lot of christmas shopping done- but still need to do DH's family (kids)- he is waiting to see what his bonus is- i hope he gets it today. in today's economy, a bonus isn't a guarantee, hopefully he gets one and it is decent! we are just thankful to have jobs! :goodvibes Will is such a blast lately- he loves wrapping paper and lights- he actually says light (or what sounds like it!). we are doing a horse drawn carriage ride to see lights in an old (rich) part of Dallas sunday ngiht with the family. should be fun. of course the TX weather is mild, so it should be pleasant too- 50s or so. We ahve DH's company party at the Gaylord Texan saturday night and are staying the night. the company puts us up! Will is spending the night with Grandma. She is also watching my niece (5) and nephew (2)----her and my dad will have their hands full.

hope everyone is having a nice holiday season, whatever your holiday may be! :wizard:

and here we are at the local Christmas village they have......Will enjoyed it!
