Love that movie. Might have to see if it is on netflix.

So I am sick yet again (so tired of being sick). This time I went to the doc's and he put me on decongestants and antibiotics. So I am at home resting today and looking for info for my DL trip that is in 48 days .

Good morning... Well they cancelled 2 of the 3 town Easter Egg hunts due to mud but we did do one this morning and had fun. Currently Eggs are boiling away on my stovetop. A lovely ham is thawing in the fridge along with all the other items prepped for 2morrows dinner. Tomorrow will be Easter Baskets, Church, Egg Hunt & Dinner and some relaxing.

We were just out working on the yard and playing with the dogs it is 52 degrees outside but super sunny and it feels warmer...some more days like today would make me a very happy girl!

I hope some antibiotics do the trick to get you over whatever it is.

I'm not loving the mud either. But without a doubt this is best day over. My main concern was sunburn.

Yep I was wearing a sleeveless sweater! It is definitely the best day of 2011 so far...there are only a few small patches of snow on the North side of the house.

Yep I was wearing a sleeveless sweater! It is definitely the best day of 2011 so far...there are only a few small patches of snow on the North side of the house.

This is the first time that I have though maybe snow in the yard won't make it into May. I still have real big patches but mostly grass. Some of the remaining snow is shaded by trees, and some where drifts build up. Of course on the north side of the house where it sluffs of the roof it's still 5 feet deep. But some warm rain should take care of that. We just haven't had warm and rain at the same time yet.

I had posted this elsewhere, but would like to share it here too.

On my last day in Disneyland, I had a real taste for hot chocolate and a chocolate croissant. So I went to the Blue Ribbon Bakery, then found my way over to the steps of the palm reader, that is on Main Street. So I sipped a bit, then noshed a bit, repeat, while feeling the nice warmth from the sun on me. Then there was an announcement about a marching band. It turned out a middle school from Benicia, Ca. was soon to be marching down Main Street while playing their music. It sounded very nice. Then another marching band ensued. Even closer to home. I thought, man this really is a small world. For the next school band was from Petaluma,Ca. It's like how far do I have to go, in order to get away? No, really..... Anyway, both marching bands were very good, and nice.

Also while I was sitting upon said steps, it was so cute, a little girl about 8 or 9 years old, with her family came over and stood next to me, she came up to me, and was just smiling and smiling at me. I thought, hmm, do I know her? No.... Ah.. I think I know why... because she had her hair done nicely and so did I. And I was wearing one of my really nice tiaras, that had to have been it. Because she was not my child. Anyway, I just smiled back, then she and her parents went off. But she was just staring at me, all the while smiling. I actually felt pretty fortunate for that. Because usually when someone looks at you, it is like yeah OK another person in my way. So this was very nice attention that was bestowed upon me. It is nice to be made to feel special.
