The New Misfit Island Resort, make your reservation today!

That's a good way to put it, since there are varying comfort factors.

Why do you have so many heals up there. I guess it really is a city. Can get away with that around here. I'd laugh at you when they break.

I easily have 50 pairs of heels and if I actually find an occasion to wear each of them once a year up here I am lucky. Usually for annual banquets for everything we are involved with and the occasional dressy dinner out...Everyday wear is all about boots most of the year. Not sure why I have so many but hey us girls Love our shoes...One of those things that do not have to be understood...it just is.

So I've been thinking I might need some new soccer cleats. What's veryone think?

I like the color

Try walking in nothing, see if he likes that better than dressed fancily. :confused3

Nothing + heels = :)

i wear my heels to disneyland.....j/k :lmao:

Oh you are one of those girls huh? Easy for you since you can go for a couple of hours...when we go it is 8am to 12 midnight if the park is open...my knee would no longer work if I wore them that long I am not as young as I once was. That being said the boots for my pirate outfit are high heeled so I will likely be wearing them to the TOTP in October.

I wasn't worried too much. Although I probably should have been. They are so bright I probably could have seen them from here....

I think it's to hide shoes like this that they make fake grass fields in colors other than green.

So I watched Red Riding Hood. I liked it. I can see watching it again. Next up.... Battle LA. It looks like fun. And how timely seeing how I shall be near by, not to mention passing through, next month. Maybe the film will be a prelude for the real thing? In which case, I better start learning hand to hand combat skills amongst other elements of survival. :)

How many people? A lot more south of me, that's for sure.

There were a couple things that were fun today when I helped at school.

So the kids were writing two lists. One of things you see in Antartica the other of things you need there.

So I asked every group of things you would use to get around. No kidding some off these kids ride the thing I was hinting at every weekend. Finally one kid gets it, the new kid from Texas. A snowmobile. Then the other thing used to move around another that a bunch of the kids use every weekend. Skis.

I also had to tell almost every kids that there are no Igloos down there. Along with a lack of polar bears. The Igloos were tough because when you learn things that start with an I, options are limited and every kid could spell Igloo. I think a lot of confusion was routed in a book they had just gone over that covered both poles together.

And then there was the cryer. I mean he broke down every 20 seconds. I was last to sit down. There aren't any clipboards left. My pencil doesn't have an eraser. Every one else is writing too fast. I can't find my hat. They need bigger kids on the playground to teach this baby a lesson.

soo the other night my mom and i watched temple grandin, it's about a young woman who has autism-her bio(.Temple Grandin (born August 29, 1947) is an American doctor of animal science and professor at Colorado State University, bestselling author, and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior. As a person with high-functioning autism, Grandin is also widely noted for her work in autism advocacy and is the inventor of the hug machine designed to calm hypersensitive persons.)

. anyhow so i told my mom i wanted to watch it with her it might be good for us since i myself have aspergers, it's a high fucntioning autism,so anyhow so we watched the movie..and my mom pointed out characteristics that temple had that closely resemble some of my disabilities--only temple was a wiz in math-me not so much, anyhow so there is this scene when temple as a young woman hugs her mom or actually lets her mom hug her(all her life she never let anybody touch or hug her) well my mom goes to me after the movie " you were once like that also, for years you never let anybody hug you ever, i remember the day when you finally let me hug you..i will never forget that day". so our mother daugther relantionship had a breakthrough this week, becaseu we don't really have a good one!

its out on DVD, it was a good movie-its called "temple Grandin"

So Red Riding Hood, is it a vesrion of a warewolf movie, to seperate itself from the 203 vampire movies?

Yes Matt it is a werewolf movie. Which I could tell from the very beginning.

What is out this week on DVD? Your breakthrough with your mom? Or something else?
