WOW went on the re-opened Matterhorn on the rougher side and I don't remember it being that rough, I mean it is smoother and all but I don't remember those little drops and such it seems they changes the track my husband even hurt his back on it
love the new yeti effects scared the crap out of me!
oh and if you ride with smaller kids strap them in first the CM was nice enough to help my son, he usually has no problem strapping himself in but for some reaosn he had a problem with this one

How old is your son? Is there time to strap your child in? I'm a little nervous about taking my eager to ride 5 year old on it with the new seats.

he's 6 and there is but its tight but the cm's help out they aren't going to let them go without the belt on
matterhorn is one of those rides off and on or the ride backs up and shuts down

I'd like to know about the safety for kids too. My grandson (just turning 5) will not ride until I can see the seat belt arrangement close up and assure myself that he will be held in the seat. I am just petrified of the Matterhorn.

they are held in the seat just fine don't get me wrong there please
I would never even think of endangering my child and he has ridden the matterhorn since he was 4.

Thanks for the reassurance, Minuet.
I know I sound paranoid, but the mother of the woman who was killed on the Matterhorn went to my church. Disney tried to say she was killed because she stood up or that she committed suicide, but that just was not true.

Can't wait to go on it in October and take my very tall 4 year old.
Thanks for the update!
