Can anyone tell me, if the RUMORED new Marriott Courtyard Inn, has been started on the property behind, Mimi's, and across from the HoJo, yet??

Also, how far along is the new Marriott Residence Inn, on the old Jolly Roger property?
Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

We walked by the new hotel being built on the corner of Katella/Harbor next to Jolly Roger. The one with a CVS on the ground floor. It looked like they had the main structure up and were getting ready to put the stucco on the outside. They were using a service elevator on the side. This was over Memorial Day weekend.

Thank You! I wonder what the opening date is? I doubt the Marriott website would be helpful..... ;)

The website says the Springhill Suites at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center (1801 S. Harbor Blvd) is booking reservations starting Nov 23, 2014. http://www.springhillanaheim.com/ I was actually pricing this hotel out for the Star Wars Half Marathon weekend and was disappointed to see the rates listed were very high.

Haven't seen anything yet about the Courtyard.

Outstanding! Thank You for that link! I think this is a great asset to the area!

We were just there, and the Spring Hill Suites looks like it's going up fast. I am also curious when these will open, as we do the Marriott Rewards. We stayed at the Residence Inn Maingate, and it was horrible. I'm looking for better Marriott rewards options! We are going again in September, and I reserved Residence Inn Garden Grove.

We just get too claustrophobic in one small room. I either want two connecting rooms or a two bedroom suite, and that's too expensive on property. I have been happy at other Spring Hill Suites locations, and I think I would try out two connecting rooms there after they open.

Thank You Gary!!
Cannot wait for this Courtyard Inn to open!! I wonder if it will be by the 60th Birthday?
