Goofy'smuse: A new home! I can imagine how excited the Goofy's are. I know that your house will go quickly in this market, but here's some
for luck.
I_tink: Hi there! I'm adding whole grain crackera topped with cream chees and sun dried bruschetta to enjoy with Angel's wine.
Tammy: I checked out your DS website, thank you for sharing it with us. I try to picture the two of them on the ice, so this was a treat. You have got to be close to the end of school now, aren't you?
VAGal: Have a great trip!
Angel: I am in tears. My heart is breaking for your SIL. Watching your buddies go home has got to be a double edged sword. I know that Chris is very close to his group, and chose to extend his time of service in order to stay with them during his tour. He said that it is easier to be with the men you are familiar with and used to working with. I hope that they can join you in Disney, the family at V&A would really add to the "Celebration of Life" and now I have one more little thing to add each evening when I pray.
Chris is taking the deaths of his buddies very hard. He is tired because they are working long hours and you know the conditions that they work in. He tries to work out 1 hour a day, but this is nowhere near the time that he feels he needs, but he feels better if he gets one hour in. He really does not tell his Mom too much because she would never sleep.
My BIL is doing okay, I guess. He looks good and has never lost his appetite. He has completed his chemo and the radiation in his chest, and now he is having a part of his brain radiated as a precaution. The cancer he has is very invasive and know to attack the brain. He seems to be upbeat, but my DS never talks about it unless pressed. She was a hospice nurse for a long time, and a lot of knowledge and experience is not always a good thing.
Hey, I think the rain may be gone for a while!
