Thanks for the nice welcome, everyone! And the condolences, as well. I can see already that you're all very nice folks!
Hockeymom--wow, you're a long way from me! I'd have to pack a lunch and maybe a sleeping bag to visit you!
Although I used to work in the north end of Troy before I got my current job. So glad that's not the case anymore.
Tess--what's with the "former Buckeye" stuff? And here I thought I was going to like you.
Tammi--it's just a case of "the truth hurts", lol. I asked if there is any leeway on the age limits for GF activities like the Mouseketeers and the Adventures in Cooking (really wanted to try that one), and they sent me an email back with the following in big blue, underlined letters: "they are very strict with the age requirements due to insurance purposes." Sniff, sniff. Oh well, I'm sure we won't be lacking for things to do, but it sounded like such fun.
Other than that, so far so good. They've already made my Hoop De Doo ressies and now I just have to wait until July for the rest. I'm so jealous of those with those double digit counters.
Minniesota, I'm so into those maragaritas. Peach salsa--that sounds good. Hmm, new recipe to try next summer??

You mentioned "not hearing what you wanted to" from the GF concierge. Can you be more specific? One of us here might have had a similar experience and be able to guide you.
