I have scoliosis, which basically a side-to-side curvature of the spine. So in order to correct that, they had to fuse my spine with the help of titanium rods. It runs 15 inches the length of my back. I can't bend at all, no jumping, running, basically feels like if you had a board glued to your back. Im thin, so my rods kinda stick out and they hurt lol

Even by using the media, they're getting to kids.

Plus one company came out with these "cute" pink "purse packs" that cater to the appeal of teenage girls.

Well I did find some articles about how when teens see villains smoke, they like how cool and like, bad the characters are, and emulate it by smoking.

Also, advertising say for, casinos or something, always tries to show it as sexy.

Yeah that and sadly in my school, drinking. I talk to a lot of people in school and am friends with a lot of them, but I don't like hanging out with people outside of school that much because lots of the kids like to go out and have "soda parties" as the teachers call them...

we have many non-smoking campaigns with graphic images of what can happen if you smoke like pictures of mouth cancer. there was one where they squeezed a lung. eeew. i think less people smoke now

i tried to avoid them too
but Adam was a smoker and didnt tell me until the end of the relationship
he kept denying it

Smoking is popular here and for the life of me I cannot figure out why except that it's bored kids in the Midwest with nothing better to do.

Drinking is an enourmous problem everywhere that nobody takes seriously...
