just wondering, how often do the busses to the parks run? Also, are there seperate busses for each park?

yes, the buses start around 7:00am and run every 10-15 mins. There are separate buses for each park and DtD. Blizzard Beach is added to Animal Kingdom. I forget where Typhoon Lagoon gets added.

I also have a question about the pools. Are there lifeguards at any of the pools or near the waterslide?

3 lifeguard stations, one of them is by the slide exit.

Typhoon Lagoon is added to Downtown Disney.

All the buses go to stops in this order: 2-3-4-1 except for Downtown Disney which goes 1-2-3-4. This way you can grab any bus (but DtD) to get to the main entrance from your room stop.

When we were there last week, the buses only seemed to run every 30 minutes. Maybe because it's off-season? They seemed to run on the quarter hour 15 & :45)

Speaking of Buses I see that a previous poster stated that the buses start running around 7:00 AM. Is that the case even if the park does not open until 9:00 AM

The reason I ask is that we have an 8:10 ADR for CP when the MK does not open until 9:00. Can I count on the buses running early enough to get me to the MK in time?

Buzz Just have to aask the man who knows everything (or perhaps in this case) Mrs. Buzz If I want to make extra coffee during the day and bring my own coffee with me, what size or type of filters does the coffee makers use... Sorry if its a silly question. but I am a coffee freak and really need the fix. TIA 13 day dance.....

You can ask for extra coffee and they will leave it for you, as much as you want. They are premeasured packets. DW did bring it with her once but never used it because of the amount left by CSR mousekeeping.

Yes, we've used that bus to get to Chef Mickeys. CM's usually stand at the bus stops in the early morning and ask guests where they are going. At least I know they still did this in April 2005.

I'm not Mrs. Buzz, but I can tell you about the coffee filters. It is a smaller coffee maker however, you can use "normal" sized coffee filters and they fit fine without jamming or such.

We used our extra "normal sized" filters last month at CSR and they worked!

Cindy B And Buzz for the Coffee info. I was really wondering about the size/type of the filters. Since CSR supplies extras Guess I wont have to carry filters also. Thanks again guys. Love this thread!

Yes, you can purchase milk at La Tienda (the little store outside the Pepper Market entrance) and/or at Panchitos (the main store near registration).

Hey Buzz, last year I read a post from someone complaining about CSR being lower quality (which you and I know is hogwash) and that it was probably because, although it was a Disney Hotel, it was not run by Disney but an outside management company. Have you ever heard anything about this? I think this resort is incredibly run and managed. It always meets my high standards for a moderate resort -- far better than the other mod's -- and I would be very surprised if this was true. I always forget to ask when I am there so I thought I'd ask you -- the knower of all thing CSR.

The only thing I've read is that the Pepper Market is run by an outside company but don't know if that is true.

YES!!! I have done this and had a lot of fun. The slide at CS is better than the one at the Poly. I banged my head on the enclosed part of the waterslide at the Poly. I nearly knocked myself out. The slide at CS seemed bigger. I saw many big adults on the slide.

I just wanted to say thanks for this site. I was originaly not sure if we should stay at csr or cbr but decided on csr, I am really getting excited.

Everyone here is so helpful!
One of our favorite things to do is to go "resort hopping." We like to look at different resorts, their giftshops, food court/dining, see what the pool looks like (no, we don't go pool hopping) but it gives us a good chance to see what other hotels have to offer.

I went down the slide 2x, and my fiancee went down 5+ times (I was drinking the fabulous Margaritas at the time...and can't remember how many exactly!)

Just got back!

The resort is as nice as ever.

We had problems with the dining plan. One day we could get one thing and the next we couldn't. We lost our receipt that told us how many CS' we had left and the desk clerk said four. We went and had breakfast only to find out we only had one left. That made us mad.

We had a reservation problem and they said that we had to call Central Reservations we asked if we could use their phone since it was a long haul back to the room and the girl said no that we couldn't use it. Then she called the next guest and ignored us. We went to Pop and explained our problem and a nice girl Elicia helped us.

We really love Coronado but we didn't like the treatment so we won't be going back again.
