I see that from other DIS'ers occasionally but not sure if they ever resolve it. Are you using an up to date browser? Are you from the US? Which browser do you use? IE or Firefox?

Yep up to date browser and I'm in the US, I use IE, the kids have Firefox on their laptops I'll have to try accessing your page from there.

I have one more question, found a similar one in a thread for CBR. My mom will either driving (ha!!) a wheelchair or ECV, are the rooms handicap accessible???

Most king rooms are HA. They have lower beds and no tub.

Here are some photos from tinkerbellmagic.

Bathroom door is a Sliding door.

Can anyone tell me if the refrigerators at CSR have a freezer compartment? I just can't remember from before. Thanks.

sorry Buzz: I should be more specific in my question. My mother doesn't need a handicap room because she will be staying in the junior suite. What I meant to ask is if the junior suites are on the ground floor of the building and if they are not is there an elevator she can go up in? She will be find once she gets in the room because she can use her cane to get around. She will be using the wheelchair to cover any great distances, ie- going to the parks- that kind of stuff. Sorry for the confusion!!

I have a room question.

This will be our first stay at the Coronado Springs. We've stayed at the Poly and the Beach club on previous trips, but from what I've read on your (Buzz2001) website it looks like the CS is a great resort and perfect for our family.

When I booked the CM told me that since we are a family of 5 (3 kids are 14, 12, 4) we would need to book 2 rooms that are connecting. I read about a roll-away so was wondering if indeed we do need two rooms.

Anyway, more space is better. They guarantee that we will have connecting rooms. Are we more likely to be put in a specific area of the resort because of this?

I'd like to be close to the bus stop, Pepper Market, and a pool (quiet or the dig site.) Looks like the Cabanas would be a good choice for a request, unless you can direct me otherwise.

Thanks!!:)

I just got back from my second trip to Coronado Springs. The hotel is just beautiful!

This time I took the advice from the boards and stayed in Cabanas 9A - It was close to the pool and to pepper market/main building. No complaints -- The room was extremely quiet. You get a refridgerator (sorry no freezers), iron, hair dryer, and coffee maker.

When I was there in November, I stayed in the Casitas section (which I also loved, but I was crazy park lady that trip and did not get to enjoy the hotel - we just walked out to the parking lot to Bus Stop 2)

They are doing some work at the hotel - so be prepared for some things to be closed.... - Francisco's and the indoor arcade are being refurbished.

To compensate, however, they have built a bar right outside the check in area. It is set up quite nice and there is always a place to sit.

The one thing that I absolutely have to rave about are the Pillows and the towels in the room. They are soooo comfortable -
You get the deluxe treatment in a moderate priced hotel.

Oh -- and I noticed in a post a few weeks ago - all of the toiletries are new - They are now blue and white (I had to take them home with me :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

I was doing some math. It would be only about 285 dollars cheaper to stay in 2 rooms that book a junior suite. I think I can splurge for that money plus like the idea of having my mom in the same place as I. So what buildings are the suites located in- I thought I read somewhere they are in the Casistas section, that would be just great.

In order to guarantee our family stays together we are going to pay the extra for the jr suite and this also guarantees a Casitas or Cabanas location. We are going next June and already booked! I asked for the double bed (two double beds ) suite and not the king. I'm wondering if the suites have a fridge in each room and if they are all ground floor or dispersed on different floors.

I'm wishing my year away in anticipation of Disney!

Take Care

four in our party. Mom, Dad and two boys. I'm thinking they will love the Dig Site. We walked around the property last September including the pool area and both wanted to get in right then. We had planned on eating at the Pepper Market BUT were too stuffed from all the dining plan food!

Have a great trip!

I noticed that I had a joining room (of course I did not need it) - but in case anyone wants to request -

It was room 9230.

The only negative thing (I don't really even think it is a bad thing) is that it faces the parking lot -- Good news is that it is on the top floor, close to two bus stops, is quiet, and has a quiet pool (that was hardely used so great for privacy) only steps away.

The cabanas also have many hammocks to choose from off the lake. There was hardely anyone using them (and I thought I went during a busy time)

I have nothing but great things to stay at this hotel. :thumbsup2

Was Cabana 9A difficult to get since it seems to be "preferred"? Did you request it prior to your trip??

Is there a hot tub in the quiet pool area?
