glad i went thru the thread, this was a question i was going to ask as we have an 8am ressie at bomas one morning.

what are the chances of getting a cab to accommodate: 4 adults, a 5 year old and a 2 year old?

also, we have 8am ressies at chef mickey one morning and we have 8am ressies at Crystal palace one morning.

how long does it take to go by bus to TTC (i assume thats the best way, then take the monorail to Contemporary)

and also to M.K (for crystal palace) and what time do the busses start running at? to make the 8am adr, what time would we have to be on the bus by?
For Chef Mickey's and CP, take the bus right to MK. They start early enough to get guests to their ADR's at 7:00am. I usually walk to the Cont. For CP, the bus will drop you off right in front of MK.

CSR has cabs that park in front of El Centro. Some are vans and some are cars. That shouldn't be a problem.

Buzz,

Thank you for the info on the views. That helps a lot!

I would love to visit your website. When I click on the link you provide, it doesn't work. What is the address??

thanks

Buzz or any other CSR experts,

I have a question about the set-up of the bus stops. At ASmu (the only resort I've stayed at before), they had separate signs and stops for the different areas (AK, Epcot, DTD, etc.) and line rows with ropes at each park's stop for people to wait at. Is that not the case at CSR? I read a review that indicated the bus stops are set up differently. Any info on this is appreciated.

Thanks!

Buzz, I know some resorts have specific buildings for smoking rooms, (which I DONT need) but I was wondering if there is specific buildings at CSR for king beds?
I upgraded to a KING and wasn't sure....Not a big deal, but curious ;)
Thanks!!!!

Not necessarily, CSR only has 124 king rooms out of 1924. Most king rooms have some type of handicapped accessibility. If someone that needs that type of room registers, you could be bumped.

So if I have reserved and paid for a King room and 123 other people have reserved and paid for king rooms, they are all sold out. I am sure if someone later called and wanted to reserve one of these king/handicapped rooms they would be told that all of these room types are already booked. There is no room at the inn. I can't imagine that I would be "bumped" because someone called later and wanted a room that I had already booked. This is what reservations are for. I have paid a premium for the king room, why would Disney "bump" me out of that room?

Sorry about this. Whenever I try to go to your website I fail - it says "DNS lookup error." I've tried everything - any suggestions? I'm dying to check it out.

Thanks

At CSR, there are 4 bus stops, one in each village and on at the main building. There are pics of the stops on my website. No ropes or anything needed because no one stop ever seems to get overly crowded.

There are 124 king rooms at CSR out of 1,924 total rooms. The 124 are scattered among the 3 villages and most king rooms have some sort of handicap accessiblity feature.

This has happened to a few DIS'ers. You either have your security set too high or it may be the version of IE you are running. Can you try a different pc?

Here's the map

Correct, not if someone called later but if someone booked at the same time as you and requires a roll in shower, those are only available in king rooms. So even if they didn't ask for a king room, that is the only type of room that can accomodate them. I'm sure CSR and all resorts do their best to meet as many requests as possible.

Can you see any fireworks from MGM, EPCOT or the Magic Kingdom from this resort?

How crowded does the pool get?

Where is the hot tub here?

Which buildings are non-smoking?

Are there corner rooms in the Cabanas that have 2 windows?

Besides soda, what else is offered for the free refill mugs? Is there lemonade?

Buzz, I need your help! I had a room only package for CSR Oct.29-Nov.6. But, when the package came out I had to cancel the room only and there was no availibility at CSR, so I booked POFQ. :sad2: I have been calling 2-3x a day to switch back to CSR with no luck. Come to find out, the only day not availible is Nov. 6, because of the learning 2006 convention. Do you think I will have any luck getting in? :confused3

I think they hold rooms until a certain time for convention guests and if they do not get reserved, they release them to the general public. Over Easter/Spring break, I couldn't get in to CSR to add 2 days on to my 6 I already had to I had to stay offsite. Nothing ever opened up but that was over Easter/spring break. There wasn't one room on all of WDW property. Good luck!

Buzz thanks for the smile! The pictures are wonderful, what a long wait for vacation. gotta get thru winter first...well part of it . Jan 27th.
