Wait, what? Dont those go on the inside of the window? That would pretty much mean it had to be mousekeeping?!?! :confused3 Or if they were on the outside, could they have fallen down and been thrown away?

Less then 2 days before a trip to CSR, I really dont want to hear that something was ripped off from a hotel room, no matter how 'inexpensive' it is.

I thought they went on the inside of the window, too. :confused3
You're right, maybe it did fall if it was on the outside. It's kind of a bummer to think someone would still a darn window cling...

The beds were okay for the first few nights (except that we're used to sleeping on a queen size and DH and I are both Pooh-sized, so it was cramped). The 4th or 5th day we both woke up with a back ache, so I think the mattress was too soft for us.

Ohno!

DBF needs a hard mattress or else I'll never hear the end of it (well, I'll hear his snoring all night and complaining every morning :rotfl: ) We are paying extra for the king sized bed because DBF is pooh-sized too.

Anyone have any ideas how to make the mattress harder? :rotfl2:

So very excited, 27 days till DISNEY!

No, they go on the outside of the window.

And I guess it is possible it fell off, but you'd think it would still be on the ground under the window if it did. :confused3 (and none of the other 11 fell off for the whole week).

However, I don't let something like that ruin my vacation :goodvibes I actually put a note in its place saying that Winnie and Friends were missing (not stolen) and their friends missed them, hoping that they would come back, but it didn't happen. I figured it was probably some little kid that liked it and their parents didn't notice until later that they had it and didn't know where it came from.

We checked out of CSR about 2 hours ago after 7 wonderfull days. I will post a full report when we get home but wanted to let those heading there this week that all that has been reported about how wonderful CSR is is 100% accurate.

Have a wonderful time, already miss it

I tend to feel that the mattresses are on the harder side, at least harder than my mattress at home. They are also relatively new, within the last 3 years or so.

Hi everyone,

Just got back from from a wonderful trip to CSR. But we ended our trip on a bad note...

We were staying at the Ranchos and decided to hike it to the Magical Express bus stop yesterday morning at 4 am with all of our bags. When we reached the bus stop I looked down at my camera bag and it was open and my camera was gone! I dropped it somewheres between the room and the bus stop. With the bus arriving, I didn't have time to go back to look for it as its a 10-15 minute walk each way and we had a plane to catch. The cast member said as soon as he could find someone to look after the front desk for him, he would go look for it and he would call me if he finds it. I haven't received a phone call as of yet so I assume he didn't find it.

Please, anyone who was staying at CSR and found my camera laying along the pathway the morning of Dec. 9th. could you PM me. I don't really care about the camera, I just care about all the pics and memories for my 7 year old son. I'm sure if someone on here found it, they would have turned it in but just incase someone forgot to turn it in before leaving the resort, please PM me!

Woohoo!! Someone found my camera and is mailing it to me! :cool1:

Here's a tip for those of you going to CSR and on the dining plan. There is a little cafeteria style place called the Rix Cafe and for 1 quick serve you can get any sandwhich or salad, a bottled drink, and something from the bakery section. The sandwiches also come with an apple and the kids pb&j sandwich comes with raisons and a cookie.

The night before we left we picked up one of these meals for each of us where we would be leaving before anything opened. We had both breakfast and lunch for the next day (pasrtries for breakfast & the sandwiches/apples for lunch). The pastries in the bakery are very tasty...not the prepackaged stuff, its baked right there. My DS couldn't finish his cinnabun bacause it was so big!

Definately an excellent value for a quick serve meal!

We are off to CSR for 3weeks tomorrow, and i'd like to thank Buzz and all those who gave tips and reports. All the info has helped in planning our trip.I can't wait to go ,and i hope to let you know how it went when we get back.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.:santa:

So glad to hear someone is returning your camera! I hate when "the magic" is ruined by someone being a jerk and taking peoples stuff. Especially when pictures are involved. Great news!

I'm glad to hear you got your camera back. There is good in this world, we just don't hear about it as much as we should.

Welcome back! Glad to hear that someone is sending your camera back.

Thanks for the heads up on Rix.

Very good news about your camera

We're not doing the Dining Plan... but I plan on visit Rix a few times!

The view from our room 2 weeks ago. We were in 9B and it was a perfect location! I had requested 8A, but this was better!

Does anyone ever get tired of seeing this? Not me. Such a lovely resort!

So much useful information!! Thank you to everyone who posted their comments, reviews, etc.

We will be in Orlando a week from tomorrow!! We'll be splitting up our trip though, one night at CSR on the 21st, then a trip down to Miami to spend Christmas with family, then coming back up to spend 2 more nights at CSR before we come back home.

I have a really strange question....since we didn't purchase the Dining Plan (due to the short and broken up trip), will the food be high priced at the food court or restaurants?
