I just wanted to say thanks for posting the rate on AKL Concierge, we are hoping to stay there 1st week of June.

I'm waiting to hear from Dreams Unlimited to see if they can get me a room with the new code. Hopefully, I hear from someone soon!

The $434 rate is so disappointing. It's not even 20% off . I hope the AP rates are much better.

You all need to remember that even with these codes you are in regular season, not value, for most of the resorts. So the rack rate you are starting from is higher than value season.

Although I tend to agree with most posters, that this new set of codes doesn't seem to be as generous as in the past.

I wanted to post here that yesterday I bid on the "Disney Area" via Priceline and I got the Swan for $69/night (5/9-5/11). I researched this on biddingfortravel first, and the Swan and Dolphin were coming up a lot in this category for the May timeframe that we were interested in. There is no guarantee that you will get these resorts if you bid, but the data on biddingfortravel looked good for our timeframe so we went for it and succeeded in getting this great rate! We'll be staying at BCV from Sun.-Thurs. with our DVC points and then doing Fri. and Sat. night at the Swan. I can't wait!! We've never stayed at the Swan before, so we're very excited

Code rate isn't as good as last June.....I just booked AKL/Savannah view for $250.88/night, tax included. Second week of June.

Just off the phone with WDW, There is only a 10% discount at the GF with the AXA code. I did not even bother since it is the same as my DC discount. I hope the AP or english language printed discounts are better.

Just booked a room at POR for 115.96 per night, tax included! I'm very excited and I really hope these new dates work out for my family... Up until 5 minutes ago, we were going to split our stay between POR and Comfort Suites Maingate East, however Comfort Suites wants to charge us more per night with these slightly altered dates, so it's only a couple dollars difference between POR and CS now, so.... we'll have to see what happens!

When we were at WL in October, the people there who were using codes were paying $140/nt for a courtyard view and this was regular season-the same type of season for the current discounts.

With the current code, WL courtyard is around $223. This is much more than last October.

Yes, I know these codes are not for October. I'm just using the current codes as a guide because it is the same season as when you go in October.

We were quoted a cheaper price using Disney Club and AAA for AKL Concierge in October.

I am just wondering if this is a sign that Disney is going to have less attractive discounts, less frequently.

The rate I got for a moderate with the AKA code ($104 plus tax) was still better than I got with my AAA discount (about $124 plus tax). So I'm not sure how these codes compare with last October's codes, but they do seem to be better than just using a AAA discount.

I think there will be other codes out since the source for this code was the Spanish version of People magazine. According to Mary's mousesaver site, this was given to her by someone from Puerto Rico. Has anyone seen this code in any other newspaper or magazine besides this?

I've got AKL Concierge booked since January 10th with the DC rate and it is the same as what the AXA code is - so I wait for AP rates to come out - hopefully soon!!!

Last year we had a 4th floor Savanah View room and paid $208 incl tax - that was May 2002.

I applied the code to my existing ressie with CRO. With just my AAA discount, it was 150.69, with adding the code, the total was 132.69 (including tax).

Using the new code, I received the Contemporary Tower for mid may at 312/nite including tax. Originally, the rack rate was 412/nite including tax. So the Code was a 25% savings.

Tonyspad, are you sure the code for GF was no better than DC?

I just called and got GF lagoon view for $365. That's about $50 less than either DC or AAA rates.
