Just checked my online banking and the Water Company haven't taken any money for the last two months although the DD is still live, now they want £55 per month!!!

Told them I can only afford £35 so it'll be interesting to see how much they take on the 1st September!

I can't believe that my yearly water bill is £390! Makes me want to leave a tap on all day everyday

Try not paying for your water bill... i owe them £400 i think. Its £10 a month or nothing, if they don't like it they can lump it.

I don't see why we should pay for water.

Well I said to the bloke on the phone that the most I'd pay is £35 per month and I'll just keep cancelling the DD until it comes out how I want it too.

I hate the fact that you have to pay for the water, and then you have to pay the astronomical prices to heat the water up!! For £400 a year I want hot water for free!

At least you have access to clean water, its alot more then some ppl!! Sadly the world ticks on money...

I have to say, we have issues surrounding that up here. We pay some of the highest council tax in the country, and we don't see squat as a result of it. It really bugs me because every year they hike the prices up and nothing improves except the pay packets of those higher up at the County Council. This isn't speculation, this is true. Sadly.

My uncle used to work in housing for the council as well..... He's now an asbo officer... He takes great delight in pouring underage kids Lambrini down the drains.....

..... Robert however is basically the office monkey and spends most of his days making puppets out of envelopes and bubble wrap.....
