Oh!! Cool!!

Very exciting! Can't wait to hear the answer!!

Yaaaaay LA!! I loooooooooooooooooove LA! If you;re going to have a few days there let me know and I'll do you an itinerary!!

It'll only be the best part of a day because I'm fairly poor. I'm only extending it long enough to visit DL and that's only because I'll be almost there without paying a penny anyway, so it would be a shame not to pay those last couple of hundred pound to visit DL.

evening all
when i was in florida in arpil i never seen anyone get anything so they must be hiding very well...

I was ther for 3 weeks in July and didn't see the dream team once :confused3

I'll try and do everything at work tomorrow with my fingers crossed - but may attract odd looks :rotfl:

Hope you have good news to give us tomorrow night :goodvibes

If all goes well this week, then my signature could change to 3 trips booked this week. I'll also be applying for my holiday day so I can book Germany tomorrow, so as soon as that's confirmed, I will be booking it because I've now got the £80 required to cover the entire trip to Germany...

Even one day is better than nothing especially as you say you are so close anyhow

Its probably because I went in Jan and the parks were so empty there wasnt any crowds anywhere so I could make out the dream team lol!

How was the weather then? I'm thinking of a Jan WDW wedding if jack agrees (getting closer daily) but im worried it'll be a bit cold in the night for a firework cruise...

That's a slight guess based on last years cost, but it won't be far off. It's my EMEYF (European & Middle Eastern Young Friends) Quaker Annual Meeting trip, so we sleep on the floor of which ever Quaker Meeting House we happen to be using...

Flight is £50 from Southampton to Hanover (I'll be using step-dad's flyBe points to get it half price as it's usually £100).

Train from Hanover to Bad Pyrmont is €30 / £23.

Food and accommodation last year (we were in Brussels last year, but Germany should be similar) was €15. Admittedly, that cost buys you a space on the floor to place your sleeping bag and some food that I often struggle to eat, but it's accommodation all the same.

I'll be flying out on Friday 28th November and returning on Sunday 30th, so it's a reasonable length of break as well. works out about £40 a night :)

We've done Christmas twice at WDW and the weather was fine - the first time it was at least 70 most days, the 2nd time it was a bit cooler but stil hot. It did get cooler in the evenings but probably still warmer than most days this summer in UK

And its a nice time with your friends. :)

So bad food will be a small price to pay :goodvibes

The weather is mixed, some days are really warm-water park weather, and other days are cool. The nights are cool but I think you would be fine -its nowhere like England!! I like the lack of humdity it meant that we could get around easier. As the weather changes its hard to plan days (we had to swop waterpark days over) but because its quiet we got reservations on the day!! Also all the xmas decorations are up so its extra magical - without the xmas prices and the queues!
