Going here for the first time Sept 2-10 :yay:

We are POP lovers, but decided on a split stay this time just to try something new. Will be checking in at CB on Oct 24 and leaving the 28th! Can't wait. I'm so excited for the pool:beach::yay:

I am sure this has been mentioned, but I can't seem to find it quickly. Any word on when the room refurb will be complete? Starting to think about our May 2015 trip and CBR is definitely a front runner. Just hoping to get a refurbished room.

We are visiting in April 2015 - unsure of room refurbs will be complete.

Any idea?

April and May should very likely get you a refurbed room as that is very close to the expected completion date. Unless something catastrophic happens and they get way, way, behind. As it sits now, I think many people think the work is not progressing fast enough for them to meet the deadline. We'll see, I guess. :)

Thanks!

I wish there was at least a list of the order in which they planned to complete the buildings. I wonder if they will wait to do the preferred locations last. Wish those were done first, considering those rooms cost more. We will be visiting with my mother, and she will require a preferred location. If those buildings aren't complete we would probably pick another resort. Disney sure makes it hard to plan without much info on refurbs and such these days.

Thank you - we want a preferred but we are just concerned :)

add 2 more to the roll call for 13-20. December

our 1st romantic getaway... can anyone help with a more "romantic" side of the resort? we haven't placed any "requests" at all and just have a "regular room" booked.

I read Jamaica 45? and Aruba 51? have the bridge to the Cay (and I assume are requested a LOT). Any other "favorites"?

Add us the the list! Decided to take a quick trip to experience the Special Frozen happenings at DHS! The joys of being an annual passholder!! 7/31-8/5

Quick question about the main pool area - are there plenty of sun loungers/chairs round the main pool? I like to relax with a book after a day at the parks while DH, DD & DS have a swim!! :smickey:

Online check in, as in you bypassed the front desk?? Or just the usual online check in? I did not think CBR had online checkin that allowed you to bypass the front desk.

No I wasn't a part of the new skip the desk trial, just did the old standard online check in where the paperwork was ready and check in was a quicker process.

After staying value way more times than I want to count, I decided to give CBR a try. Of course I chose the most expensive time of the year (face palm), but the Free Dining should help. Stayed at ASMu in June and got tired of always eating QS.

Please add this Beach Bum to the roll! :wave2:

I'm just replying so I can subscribe. We're planning on December 22 to 30th and this is the first time we'll be staying onsite. I have a ADR for Christmas morning in Cinderella's Castle so I'm pretty excited for that. I had to get up at 4:45 on a Saturday morning to get that so I hope my girls have fun. I think that will be a pretty cool Christmas morning for my 10 and 7 year old daughters.

We've actually decided to drive 17 hours instead of flying so we can upgrade to a moderate and stay another couple days. I think the trade off will be worth it.

Don't beat yourself up! No need to face palm. :rotfl: It actually won't really be more expensive if you eat like my DH does. I added up what the 3 of us would eat and drink over our trip at a cheap time of year and it comes out a little cheaper for us to go at Christmas. And if that is not making you feel any better just think about the fact that you will not be sweating buckets in December. There is sooo much to be said for that!
