I'm glad someone started a thread on this because I've been wanting to post. I know Andrew...I work with his roommate, Kevin. Andrew was selected at the end of December and it's just been killing me that I couldn't share with anyone. I think this is the longest I've ever kept a big secret LOL. Anyway, I am very curious to see how the show is edited...Andrew is great but can be a little cocky JMO. He is not happy about his wealth being played up so much, as that's just a very small part of who he is, but I knew that ABC would use that angle, as a reverse Joe Millionaire. He is definately charismatic, the walk into a room and people gravitate to him type, even not knowing how rich his family is.
I'm also really glad that the response on this board has been so positive...over on the ABC board, they are being really brutal. Someone posted that they met him at AA (not true) or that he is a struggling actor (not true) but mostly they just say he's ugly. Of course, no one has class like the DISers.
There's an article on him in the People magazine that comes out tomorrow. I'll try to share as much as I can w/o getting into trouble...I do know quite a bit of what happened but I do NOT know who he picked or if he proposed.
