the new ap w/fast pass

have only used a thin paper type ticket in the fast pass machines - this thing is thicker than a credit card - will it fit?

and since the internet is not recognizing it as annual pass - will the fast pass machines?

Since room cards work, I assume it will work as well.
 
You add him to 'Friends & Family' which is found under 'My Profile'.

If he has his own MDE account, you will want to 'invite' him so you can view and share plans.

If he doesn't have his own MDE account, you will manage the account.

Nothing but problems putting everything into the MDE site. It doesn't recognize my dining reservation number for V & A's and it won't take our PAP voucher numbers to link them either. I assume we can't do the fast pass linking without that in there. Is that right?
 

I'm at Disney now. We have had nothing but problem because our account is linked with MDE. Our park passes didn't work, our room keys stopped working 3 times...

To use FastPass+, you will need link your passes to MDE in the same place on the website you would a resort reservation:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/claim/

If you do link your pass using the above link, it will not appear on the MDE website yet. They did briefly show up on 6/26 under My Profile, but disappeared later in the day. They will show on the MDE mobile app as noted in Post #6.

The Passholder 'Affiliation' appears to be just for purchasing special event tickets via disneyworld.com. It doesn't have anything to do with FastPass+.

That is correct, did you call MS to ask for help. They were very accommodating in helping me link mine.

I don't get it. What makes Disney's Brainiacks think that everyone uses their Websites or even carries a Smart Phone or even carries a phone in the parks? Based on what I'm reading here if you don't then you can no longer be a "Guest" of Disney?!?!?!

As Pete the webmaster/owner of this site said in a Podcast about this, no one if forcing anyone to use this.

You can go to Disney and never use the Fastpass+ or magic bands.

If you wish to book Fastpass+ then yes you are going to have to follow that procedure. There will be kiosks in the park if you don't have your phone, or don't have a smart phone.

You book it 60 days out from your computer. Which everyone that is on this forum obviously has.

Right now the new Fastpass is only be tested by a few selected. Then it will be implemented but the regular Fastpass will still be available. However if you wish to get Fastpasses, at some point that will be the only option.

There is no date for the complete roll out.

I am not going for a few months. I won't mind using the old system until the quirks are ironed out. We don't even usually use fastpasses very often anyways.

I was told it will be a very slow implementation of the entire system. It could be months before everyone is using it.
 
So... If you haven't activated your PAP vouchers yet, will you be able to use the FP+ to schedule before the trip where you activate? Or is this known?
