The New and Improved Official Home of The Tagliarchy!

As I said on the poll, it's okay, because I am pretty "*****in" too. :moped: :smooth:

Beanie the meanie doesn't look so mean but EVERY Bichon I have know has been a little pistol! Mean!!! Sophie and Sausha, both female have really fit the bill for the mean word. They could tear your arm off, and yet so cute looking.

Daily Swiss Chocolates offered for my TF friends! Luv you guys (non genderistic) !!!

A little sadness in the ibounce household: my dog passed away last Friday night. He was over 15 years old, nearly blind and quite deaf. He had a long and fun life. He only came to live with me about two years ago....spending his retirement years in a quiet household (he was part of quite a managerie (sp?) in his lifelong home and when his 'master' passed away he came to live with me). I console myself that he's with his beloved 'daddy' up in heaven. My cat really misses him, so for her sake as well as mine I'll be keeping my eyes open for a new canine companion.....in a little while.
So sorry for your loss! :( I'm sure he was happy in your home. That's such a nice thought - picturing the reunion with his former 'master'. Hope you're doing okay??

Beanie (who is about 10 pounds) loves to torture poor Otto (who is about 15 lbs). She steals things away from him, pulls his tail, and when Otto has settled comfortably on my lap, she jumps in and puts herself between me and him.

Both dogs LOVE kids. The smaller the better. And other small dogs. But Otto does have a Napolean complex--little man syndrome. ;) In other words, he's not too fond of big dogs. My SIL is bringing her 80 lb. mutt when they come on Thanksgiving. Morgan is deathly afraid of Otto. It's just too funny.

ibouncetoo I'm so sorry about the loss of your doggie. It's always hard to lose a sweet furbaby. He was lucky to have such a long, happy life and to have someone like you take him in when he needed it. ::yes::

Our kitty Tiger is a dog lover, too. She LOVED our 1st Schnauzer, Schatzi. When he died we didn't get another dog for about a year, and I was a little worried about how Miss T would react to a puppy. Well, she took to Max (also a Schnauzer) immediately and snuggles with him every chance she gets.

LOL! That is funny. Sounds like Otto is definitely an alpha dog.

It seems to me that there has never been so much campaigning going on before. Is it just me, or is it getting very competitive over on the poll? Could it be because of the possibility of a new tag to the winner? Of course there's no way of knowing if that will really happen. Do you think we'll start getting into dirty politics soon? I can just see the headlines "Nephosaurus insists, he never inhaled" , "TiggerFans proclaims she is not in the mafia":worried: , "Deadheadbelle caught in hot affair with Nephosaurus" . Fortunately, things have not turned ugly yet and the poll ends in just a few days.

NOPE SORRY. i THINK THE HEADLINES WILL READ....

"

Cheeringmom, the adorable underdog, loses the poll with only one pathetic little vote but the gracious Tag Fairy, out of the goodness of her/his heart, bestows a brand new spanking shiny tag to Cheeeringmom because EVERYONE knows the Tag fairy loves the UNDERDOG ":teeth:

Below is evidence of how a female can come into your life and just take over everything! Even at a young age. Notice Otto does not look too happy about it. C'est La Vie!

The actual headline would read more like this:
"After selflessly extolling the virtues of PURPLE to her adoring public, Tigger Fans! is awarded multiple new tags and the opportunity to become a full-fledged Tag Fairy!"

Ah well, I can wish! :teeth:

Tag Fairy: I do believe,
Give tags to all before you leave!
Sprinkling Pixie Dust and singing the TIKI ROOM song now...
I'll help with the tags if you teach me how!

Can I PLEEEEEASE have a new tag?
*Tag Fairy: This clapping is a Tigger Fans! original made especially for YOU! :teeth::

Thanks for the hugs:grouphug: everybody.

My friends and family are now offering many suggestions on replacement (as if) puppy dogs. Minpin votes from sister (who has two), westie, bichon and min.schnauzer also. My dog before Fyvel was a min.schnauzer and he was a great dog.

I'm thinking I'll just let the universe provide me with my next pet and not go out looking.

Gotta get back to work and thanks again

TN Carole, I'll enjoy some cyber pancakes, thanks. In the 'real' world I'm off the sugar and carbs till Turkey day (ahemmmmmmm, notice my new 20lb clippie). Then after that, back on plan till Christmas. Boy, December sure is the hardest month to be in control.

I forgot to congratulate you this morning. So... congrats on your weight loss! I know how hard it is to achieve. :sunny: December IS a hard month to be in control. ::yes::

When you least expect it, a new furbaby will come into your life. At least that's been our experience.

I believe in the Tag Fairy!!! :teeth:

This is the website that got me looking for another Bichon:

http://www.petfinder.com

Beware, it's addictive. LOL. We ended up going with a breeder though, because so many of the Bichons on petfinder had housebreaking issues or they were seniors. (Housebreaking a Bichon can be tough, and my guess is that is why most of the younger ones ended up on petfinders. :( ) Another obstacle is that many people in rescue don't want to place their dogs with homes with children. :( :(

good after noon, tagliarchy!!! just got back from filenes and i have 3 boxes each (18pieces in each) of godiva chocolate!!! for all!!!!!!!!!!!

the box wrapped in a giant new 20 is for the tF, of course

also while i was at themall i picked up the newest issue of people magazine ....hmmm...i think everyone needs a copy....i bet you can all guess why....

ibouncetoo: sorry to hear of your loss! i lost my norweigian(sp?) elkhound(rufus, no relation to naked mole rats)a few years ago,....arthritis, deafness, all that:(

im sure you'll find a new pet thats will help you ease your mind ::yes::

(my dad bought me a german shepard from the humane society, its not rufus but harley is my new baby)

I'm partial to kitties(Cordelia and Dolye, yes I named them after the Angel characters). Both are still babies and tabbys

ibouncetoo,

pixie dust and my thoughts are with you regarding your loss. they are little gifts from God that only know how to give love.

i lost my little rudy about 2 years ago, she was a rat terrier. the love never goes away. when she passed, someone gave me the poem:

"The Rainbow Bridge"

really touching about where doggies go to wait for their owners. i cried my eyes out but i keep that poem and read it often. if anyone wants a copy let me know. i didn't know if i should post it.

it is really great to see so many pet lovers. also, we just got a brother "dog" for my little dixie. i posted the story about 4 pages back. it took a while for us to get another but i am so glad we did. we got him from a rescue. Ratbone Rescue". he has brightened our lives.

Have a pixie dust filled, magical and tagged filled weekend.

:D
