The new and improved DL hotel..

Please tell me ALL about it. How are the rooms, the new Monorail waterslides, etc..?? I've stayed at the DL hotel before, but long before the renovation. I'm going on a family trip in August. We had booked a 3 bedroom suite at the Grand Californian, but yesterday my step-dad said he wouldn't be able to make the trip, so we switched to a two bedroom suite at the DL hotel. By doing that, we're saving a total of $2,544.00 Sweet, huh? For the longest time I said once you stay at the Grand Cal, there's no staying anywhere else. But we decided to save some money this time, and since DL has done some changes, we'd see if we liked it better there. So I'd love to hear all about it please!

Pete from the podcast definitely prefers the DLH to the GC-I'm underselling this-he reallllllly prefers. I think the GCH is very overpriced.

I'm never staying at the GCH again. I LOVE the new updated DLH! It is much brighter, the rooms are bigger, the grounds are better, and the pools are better. The only thing the Grand has is a beautiful lobby and I can go and sit there any time I want.
