THE NEW AEF CODE..Just called on it, some info....

...talked to a very friendly CM (and they have been extra friendly as of late..is it me or has anyone else noticed??)..anyway, I've already booked AND paid my res(were going in MAY!!!!come on may!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The CM told me that the code is ROOM ONLY!!!Not that thats a problem, but, it may be if you had booked the earlier code alot of us grabbed up A*A( I did so as a package at the time)
I am staying at the CSR, and didnt want to change....when she broke it all down, it would have cost 20 dollars more to re-book everything and get park hoppers, ect., but also stay at CBR..which is ok, but I already stayed there(want to try EVERY reort at some point!!!
Like I said, she was exceptional, and really went the extra mile to get me more info than"You cant get that code sir!"

Hope those of you out there ready to book have lots of luck with this code....it is worth checking into!!

tbear you will love CSR. We are there in May too. The new codes are not good for the dates of our stay - we are paying $104 before tax right now. I'm hoping to get a good AP rate. If not, I'm happy paying $104. The pool and spa area is awesome.

HOWEVER, if I can get a deluxe for under $150 I may consider switching....

I just called, and they said my rate at the CBR for late April/early May is the same as I already had with the CZF code. But it never hurts to ask!

I'm just curious as to how you go about getting your room rate changed with a code? How often can you change it? Who do you call?

I was able to switch my rates at the POR. I booked a room only for June 30th-July5th with the AXA codes. Then the CZF codes came out and I called and the CM was very helpful. I told him that I had heard I could possible get a lower rate, he asked for the code that I was looking for and he looked.

Now, he did tell me to hold because he would have to see if he had any rooms available under that code. So I guess they do assign codes a certain amount of rooms. Well I was able to get a $56 savings with the new code. It worked for me. The less I pay the more I can eat!!! Just kidding, maybe.

Getting any code at AS Movies is very difficult. Apparently it sells out at rack rate so there just aren't many code rooms available. (Which explains why I have never stayed there!)

I can't get the code for the first part of my reservation either. No discounts exist for me, I was just lucky to be able to get a standard room! They did tell me a large block of rooms is on hold, probably a convention.

Here's hoping the second part of my ressie will get an AP discount or something!

Called phone number of web site - which I gues rolled to WDTC and not CRO - CRO was busy. WDTC staff quoted me rack rate for season for my request May 13th to May 19th - had to emphasize the code "AEF" and then got the lower rates. Good thing this board exists!!!

POR for $94 per night and WL Woods $154 per night for mid-May
