The New 1900 Park Fare Stuff

Okay, I just got off the phone with a cast member and this is what she said:
The only changes being made to characters are at dinner, changing out the Mice and Godmother with Stepsisters and Stepmother. The breakfast characters will remain the same. As far as the menu goes, she said it will go back to the original menu. This answered my questions, I hope it did yours. Now, of course, I could call back in 10 minutes, get a different cast member, and be told something else

So if you have your dining reservation for this dinner, but as of now its at GF Cafe, will they just transfer your reservation to 1900 Park Fare??? Our adr is for Friday, so I'm just curious if I should call Disney Dining to find out or if we'll be ok

I have never seen the Fairy Godmother ever when we have dined for dinner at 1900 Parkfare. I've always seen the Prince, the Mice, Cinderella and whatever random character they assigned to the lobby. I have only ever seen The FGM when we've eaten at the castle.

I would love to make sure of this too. Now I am in a tough spot. GFC is my mom's favorite place to eat, but now DD was so excited that she was going to see the princesses there. What on earth am I going to do?!?!?! I am so thankful for the DIS or I would have never known that 1900 PF was reopened early!

That's what I was told last week by a CM- GF Cafe is back to the old menu, no characters.

Two years ago, my daughter got to "open" 1900 Park Fare She had to teach all the adults and kids to say the magic words: Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo. When she did the doors opened, confetti was thrown and The Fairy Godmother came through the door and introduced my daughter to the servers/chefs as: Princess Meghann from the Kingdom of New Hampshire and they all clapped! It was a great moment for her and its been her favorite restaurant every since! When we left, Meghann went out and got her autograph and she hugged her and said "Goodbye my little princess!" It was so sweet!
