The NCIS Official Thread

I was so scared that it wasn't going end well! I loved Gibbs' line: "He's not a dog, DiNozzo. He's a Marine."

UGH! All I got to see was the last 10 minutes:sad2:

Between Church council duties and training for my new business I;m never home on Tuesday nights anymore:headache:

I think I see Directv and a DVR in my future:rolleyes1

I WANT MY NCIS!

Do you guys watch NCIS LA? Not sure I'm feeling this new team..and wonder if such a unit really exists.

I can't believe no one has posted about last night's episode.

I missed the beginning of the show so I was a bit confused about Abbey behavior. What caused her to become so depressed/sad? I saw the flashbacks about her and her childhood friend...

I think last night was a rerun, so if you look far enough back in the thread we probably discussed it when it aired. Are you talking about the episode with the stuffed animal?

I'm sketchy on the details but it was something along the lines of, her mother was killed in an accident, Abby found the bear in the car in the junkyard, and was excited to return it to her, but her maternal grandfather had given it to her and she was no longer allowed to see him after her mom died.

So did you all like McGee's dad? I knew who the murderer was when the assistant to the admiral got more than 2 lines of dialog. I like how Vance and Gibbs were so protective of McGee

That was my favorite line of the episode!

Dh and I really enjoyed this episode.

There was a new episode, but it felt phoned in. Figured the crux of it within five minutes--the story was a mishmash of leftover parts from other episodes. In the beginning, Tony is wearing a peach tie, Ziva a dark t-shirt, and McGee a dark shirt with gray jacket. Halfway through show, all three are wearing something different. The last scenes? Back to the peach tie, dark tee, and black shirt/gray jacket. Early on in the show, a minor character lives in Roanoke, yet they manage to whisk him to the NCIS office quickly even though by car that's a four-hour plus drive. I've been a fan since NCIS' inception on JAG, but this was not one of their better efforts.

I totally agree, and what's worse is that I find myself saying that more and more often lately. That and "we've seen this story before." :worried:

Most shows have a shelf life, and NCIS has been around a long time. Very little is fresh anymore, and to do anything new, the storylines have to be a little incredulous (really, the head of Mossad and the Palestinians together without anyone knowing?). Meanwhile, the newfound maturity Tony displayed a few seasons back when he was called on to do more for NCIS has completely disappeared. McGee is still a "newbie" even though he's been on the show for nearly as long as Tony and Gibbs. I do enjoy the interaction--which no doubt fuels its popularity--but I'm hoping the producers see fit to end the show before it loses all sense of propriety. ;)

I thought the last part was weird. McGee knew but not Tony, but then Tony is going with her? Just seemed weird.

She needed McGee for his computer savvy. Tony going with her is the muscle. ;)
