The NCIS Official Thread

Just read on Pauly Perrette's twitter feed that young Gibbs was actually Mark Harmon's son. (I did notice his name on the opening credits and then promptly forgot.) Also apparently Micheal Weatherly's niece is on american horror story.

He's played him before in the episode where Gibb's goes back to his hometown.

New NCIS this Tuesday, tonight for those of you north of the border.

If it's the one I think I saw a preview for, it looks really interesting. I haven't paid much attention to the earlier episodes this season, they haven't really peaked my interest.

Sorry CBS...It's still too soon for me to take Steve Urkel seriously in anything. I just hear "Got any CHEEEESE?"

I was wondering how they were going to get rid of Ray! No way are they gonna let any of these folks have a happy relationship. :rotfl:

However, it looks like they are trying to set up Ziva and Tony getting together. I don't like that!

BTW is Cote de Pablo pregnant? I know a few years ago she was having health issues and gained some weight that she lost later on. She has gained some now, and I was wondering if it was the same thing or of she was pregnant. In some shots it looks like she has a belly, but in some it doesn't. You can tell she's gained in her face, though.

Vance has one. They should let the team members have one, too. (BTW, whatever happened to the Army officer Gibbs was seeing? She put in her papers, and it looked like that relationship might have had some legs.)

And I wish they didn't turn Ray into a villain. That was totally unnecessary.

I agree! Why does TV believe that men and women can't simply be friends?

Besides, that's usually the death knell for a series. At the risk of dating myself, anyone remember Moonlighting? Once Maddie and David got together, the show went down the tubes.

Yes, when David & Maddie got together on Moonlighting it was the end of the show. But there were a lot of other factors there--the 2 of them never really got along, she had just gone thru a tough pregnancy, etc. And the show was on it's last legs anyway.

NCIS is stronger than ever, if any show could put a couple together, it's the one. I'm always in the minority with that opinion, I know. But don't a lot of us find our mate thru work? I know of at least 3 couples, one being my brother. And if shows don't want to do it, then stop with the sexual tension stuff. Just have the characters be friends/co-workers and that's all. West Wing did it very successfully for years--Toby and AJ were never more than friends. They did let Donna and Josh get together, but only after they knew the show was going to end. If they want Tony and Ziva be a couple, then they should do it.

Anyone get the new TV Guide? It's "devoted" to NCIS and their 200th episode. A couple of different covers also!

Yes! I got the cover with Mark Harmon. I want to get the other ones. And I can't wait to see the 200th episode, it sounds great.

I liked the episode!! :woohoo: Can't believe it's been 200 - wonder how many more they will do?

I liked the episode but it was kinda weird too. I mean Tony and Kate? I don't see it. I still like the possibility of Tony & Ziva and I really want Abby and McGee to realize they love each other.

I love when they show Jethro and his first wife - ahhhh....if only

Dh and I agree that it was a good show but at times a little weird. You really had to pay attention to the show so you could understand it.

I actually really liked the episode. I especially liked the Shannon an Kelly story where if they had lived, they would have lost Gibbs anyway, it almost brings a sense of peace to the story like it was fate and they never had very long together. Very sad too.

I wish they didn't kill off Mike

I agree. One of the show's best characters. But that's part of the strength of this show--they can kill off a great character, and still go on. He was great in last night's episode.

I felt that way too--almost as if Gibbs can truly move on now. He really hasn't.
